Removing left interior panel in boot of 2013 CR-V
Trevor replied to Kess's topic in CR-V 2007 to 2011
It is more than likely that it just requires some brute force to remove (e.g. held in with metal clips) by using hands (not tools) to pull back the panel. Maybe best to start at the bottom edge first. There would more than likely be a screw holding the handle in place -
Hi Chris....welcome to the Forum Not entirely sure of the exact problem but it will certainly be connected with the reverse switch. It may be that which is faulty and causing the problem? Alternatively it may be using the reverse lamps to trigger the other components so worth removing and checking the bulbs are working first. Let us know what you find

Hi Amanda....welcome to the Forum Unfortunately, it is not an option on the 2016 CRV that I am aware of. There is however, a central locking button on the drivers door arm rest that will carry out the same function except you will have to manually switch it to lock every time you drive away. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

Sorry, this forum is for Honda cars and not Honda motorcycles

I think I would carry out a deep discharge test on the battery and see if it is up to the mark. if not, then it won't be able to recover from a discharge (which a healthy battery would). if it is below par then I would replace it with a quality battery.

Hi Denis....welcome to the Forum Not sure what happened there but would keep an eye on it in the future and if it reoccurs then maybe a visit to the local dealership is necessary. It does sound like you managed to confused the vehicles' electronics along the way but if it is now okay then maybe not worry about it. p.s. is your Jazz really a 1966 model? 🙂 Good to have you onboard

Hi Iain, glad you found it and enjoying the CRV, I personally love mine and would rate it as one of the best cars I have ever owned Handbook 🙂 I know what you mean, however there is some useful info in there if you are struggling to sleep at night
-
Not entirely sure but if they are not sealed for life units then I would look for the lowest point of the transmission and see what is there, with the refill being slightly higher up. Sorry cannot offer any other solid info but good luck with it and feel free to post up the location of the plugs for future reference

Hi Phil....welcome to the Forum I too had this problem with my CRV but managed to resolve it by spraying Silicon spray up into the pedal assembly and this silenced it nicely. It does help to be double-jointed 🙂
-
It sounds like the reprogramming did not entirely go to plan. Now the tailgate issue is resolved then it may be worth going back to the dealer to ask them to re-run the key fob programming to see if that makes a difference.

I think you'll find a double-din head unit will fit, plenty at Halfords at reasonable price and you should be able to find a fascia panel (if required) along with a loom connector there as well. A lot of aftermarket stereos have the mirror capability and BT connection for your phone so SatNav and phone call all come through on the screen.....much easier than the old Honda system.

Hi...welcome to the Forum Yes, I noticed that HondaKarma has disappeared, but we are very glad to see you here. Feel free to tell any other Honda owners from the old website about us and hopefully we can grow the club some more. Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor

Hi...welcome to the forum Firstly, there is an Aux socket in the centre armrest along with a 12v charge socket. The audio can then be set to run music from a phone when set to Aux. I too was looking for an aftermarket system but decided to stick with the current one as mostly does what i want, but totally agree that an updated system would be the way forward.

madfogs . Can't say I have come across this one before but I would replace the relay if in doubt. If it is an Omron relay then I have had these go on me before (air conditioning main relay).

Hi Pete....welcome to the Forum Sorry, never come across this fault before, however it does seem like it has been damaged in the past and there may be some debris inside the unit. It would be best to remove and strip down to see whats going on.
-
Changing the oil will definitely help as if washed down with fuel then the compressions will be lowered and less engine performance leading to higher fuel consumption. Also, check that the air conditioning is not on by default as on a smaller engine this will lead to huge power draw from the engine

Changed battery... electronic fuel gauge displaying 1 mile
Trevor replied to Kevin1970's topic in 2003 to 2008 Accord
I can't find anything definitive for this fault as it should automatically register the fuel content. You could try putting some more fuel in and see if this changes over a short time period -
Changed battery... electronic fuel gauge stopped working
Trevor replied to Kevin1970's topic in Honda General Discussions
I wonder if the tank has a faulty sender unit as the digital readout should be completely reliable reading if taking it straight from the sender -
Scraping noise when going round right hand bend
Trevor replied to Pompey Andy's topic in New Members Introductions
They use an audible wear indicator which is a thin piece of metal that comes into contact with the brake disc and create a scraping sound. The fronts should have the same but if they look low I would be tempted to swap them out before they reach the wear indicator -
Hi..welcome to the forum I would pay a visit to the local Honda dealership as they should be able to provide the code to you (usually at no cost).

Scraping noise when going round right hand bend
Trevor replied to Pompey Andy's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi Andy Sounds like the rear pads are getting low and reaching the audible wear indicator (thin plate that contacts the discs when brakes applied and sometimes when cornering which could indicate slight wheel bearing wear). Also, make sure your diff fluid is changed regularly otherwise you get a clunking from the rear on full lock -
1999 CRV - how many lambda sensors does it have??
Trevor replied to Spangles72's topic in CR-V 1997 to 2001
Hi....welcome to the Forum On a 1999 car there would probably only be the one oxygen sensor, but being as it's Japanese origin then it may actually have two sensors fitted. The easiest way to determine this would be to scan the Engine Management for fault codes and if it has downstream or number 2 oxygen sensor listed as a fault then you will need to locate the second lead to connect up another sensor.- 1 reply

Hi....welcome to the forum Try these guys as they might have something that will work https://www.headlampsdirect.co.uk/

It is an age thing unfortunately, I too have swapped MPH for MPG and seem quite content with it really 🙂

Hi....welcome to the Forum I do not know of any issues other than the odd battery cell going faulty but cheap to replace (albeit by a qualified Hybrid technician) Otherwise, I don't think you'll have any issues for years to come. Worth checking the system through the onboard diagnostic display to view the battery and Hybrid condition to ensure it is not failing in any way. Let us know how you get on with it all
