Hi Guy's,

After some advice please.  Cam chain has gone on my Accord and I am considering swapping out the engine, done plenty of MX-5's so I'm confident enough to do the job just never had an accord stripped to this level.  Can I just do a straight swap or will I come up against issues with security features like the immobiliser etc.   Any other gems of wisdom from anyone who has performed this task would be very much appreciated.

An engine swap should be straight forward enough as auxiliary equipment should be transferred across therefore no recoding I would imagine.

Unusual for a cam chain to go on a Honda...Nissan on the other hand...
