sparetc
Hi, wonder if anyone has successfully installed an isofix car seat on the rear central isofix points and still been able to use the passenger side seatbelt?! I've installed the seat no problem but now the seatbelt plug is impossible to reach, despite the seat being listed as compatible with this position. Thanks! Trevor
Hi...welcome to the Forum I thought that the seatbelt for the centre seat drops down from the roof behind the rear seats, it does on mine (2007 CR-V) Be interested to know how you get on with this Cheers, Trevor
sparetc
Hi, thanks for the welcome Trevor. The centre seatbelt does indeed come from the roof. It's the side one I'm having issues with. When the extended rear facing seat with isofix base is installed in the middle seat, it blocks access to the seat belt plug for the nearside rear passenger. Ultimately the plug ends up underneath the isofix base! Just seems a bit counter intuitive to me, having the central isofix points but the use of them meaning you can't use the nearside seatbelt! Trevor
I see what you mean (had to look up extended isofix seat base to see what you meant) and can see how that would intrude upon the nearside seatbelt....not one of Honda's better ideas!
