I have a 2013 CRV, occasional the warning light for the stop start illuminates on start up, goes off again shortly after driving off, I’ve also noticed the stop start will operate with the clutch  peddle lifted to 3/4 of the way, if foot is taken off the clutch peddle the engine restarts whilst still in neutral.

Since this has started cruise control also is playing up. Sometimes it operates others it doesn't.

Could they be linked

Hi Martin.....welcome to the Forum

 

It could be related if a common sensor is providing information to both systems.

It may be worth switching off the Stop/Start to see if this makes any difference to the operation of the Cruise Control
