Battery replacement

The battery on my CV-R needs replacing, however several sites say that after a replacement you need to somehow reset some software in the car and this is pretty common on SS cars. Anyone know if you have to do it on CR-Vs and if so how you carry it out?

I have disconnected the battery on earlier (3rd generation - 2007 onwards) CRVs and never had any issues.

Most of the settings stay and any that don't update automatically so you should be okay
