danielhondaaccord4life Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Hi everyone love my or HONDA Accord VIII Estate (CW3) 2.2 i-DTEC (CW3) 150 hp (110 kW) Diesel 2008 (58) the gadgets are epic in comparison the Audi A3 2013 I had. So my issue the steering rack motor as decided to fail and cause the steering to pull to one side resulting in mot failure. The part number is 53601-TL0-E03 According to the garage who have asked Honda dealership I believe for that. But I can only find one new one online for 1.1k from America my question is will a steer rack such as Honda Accord Mk8 2008-2012 2.2i-Dtec Power Steering Rack RHD GK08-003830 TL0-E0 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155149109321?hash=item241f9b8849:g:FVEAAOSwMDZjFdP-. Fit my Honda as a straight swap or will I need to be programed etc by Honda.
danielhondaaccord4life Posted September 6, 2022 Author Posted September 6, 2022 Many thanks for any assistance 😘❤️👊
Trevor Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 That's a tough one and probably worth trying to replace just the motor as opposed to the whole rack I would also imagine it would need programming to know the dead centre position, etc and later governed by the sensors once the system is active
