I'm thinking about getting a code reader / scanner.

Can anyone offer any advice about what to get or what to look for, or perhaps recommend a particular model?

 

I don't want to spend a fortune but would be interested to know what options there are and what you get for paying a bit more?

I use a Foseal O1-01 , Its a decent OBD 2 Reader for checking any codes and deleting them and other scans which you might need, I used it on my X Type and now on the CRV, Its not expensive and does what I need it to.
