Posted December 12, 20222 yr Hi all I am a new owner of Honda civic 2020 after having a Toyota for 16 years. Are these turbo engines reliable and fuel efficient? Do I need to warm them up for more than 5 min before driving?
December 12, 20222 yr Hi....welcome to the Club These engines seem to be working okay but obviously as they are relatively still quite new then time will tell Always warming up any engine is a good practice as putting a cold engine under load from the off is never good for wear and tear. I always start the engine and then play with the radio, seat and then put the seatbelt on before setting off which gives the engine some time to run
