iceman Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 I'm new to the forum so hello one and all. I have bought a 2006 honda jazz sport for my son. Lovely car, engine sounds mint, only 68000 miles. The accelerator cable has a little play before the engine revs up. The cable must be a little loose. I can adjust it myself but just need to know where it is and what tools i need. Any pictures will help. I think i have found where it is. The is right hand drive. So looking at engine, i think its behind the battery under a black box. How do you remove the box? And what size spanner will i need to adjust the cable nuts? Thanks
iceman Posted September 23, 2023 Author Posted September 23, 2023 Dont think there are many jazz owners in this forum or many that know their way around the engine bay. Not one response. Maybe too old now 17 years old mine is 2006.
Trevor Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 The adjustment (if any) would be on the throttle body housing where the intake trunking meets the engine Not entirely sure if it has drive by wire throttle though?
