I would be wary to go with a unknown brand.

Stick with michelin, bridgestone and goodyear.

They are well known for a reason.

Totally agree with b4u2  your life is in your hands and if you pay low prices you'll probably end up with Chinese 'ditch-finders' and compromise all handling and traction

I've used Avon tyres on quite a few cars and I like them, they don't last to massive mileages but they cut through the rain like nobody's business! Prefered it when they were actually manufactured in Britain though!

Funnily enough I have just ordered a pair of Avon tyres for my motorbike.
I see that they are closing the factory in Somerset the end of this year. 
Been bought out by Michelin - so seems good deals on existing Avon tyre stocks at the moment

I have had Falken Tyres on a few of mf my cars, a good mid range tyre always performed well without the High Price Tag, Might be worth a look
