Hi everyone, I am new to the Honda forum, but I am already an active member of both Volvo and Ford forums. My current 'garage' of cars includes the following: 2004 Volvo C70 2.0T convertible 2002 Mondeo 2.5 V6 Zetec S 2001 Mondeo 2.5 V6 Ghia X 2001 Honda Civic 1.6 I am thinking of adding a 2001/51 Honda Accord Type V. Never owned an Accord before and I wonder if anyone has any advice from a potential buyers perspective? The car I am viewing (tomorrow) is a 2001/51 2.3 Type V in black with circa 143,000 miles on the clock, looks in excellent condition from the photo's, has four previous owners, a good history and full MoT for £950.…

Hi all, After a 5 hour round trip to a very rusty but gorgeous 95 accord ex, I've decided to search within ferry distance. I see there is an add here (fate it seems) but if anyone has a 93-98 accord that isn't rusting like the titanic please pm me. Thanks all

Great to be on board after a 3 year gap in Honda ownership. Now the owner of a 2017 diesel HR-V whilst my former 2007 Civic diesel remains with my son. What a hand-me-down! I'll give up motoring when there are no diesels around - mind you i will be 91 then!

Proud owner of a 2005 CR-V and I love - as does my wunnerful wife 🙂 On my 3rd day of ownership a cyclist <ptooh> going through a red light smahed my RH light and moved the bonnet half an inch - and then limped away very rapidly (!!!) away carrying his bike. Still haven't worked out how to getthe courtesy lights to come on when I open the doors, but I'm sure that it will happen with time. I still haven't found out where to get a satnav disc for a vehicle this old, but I'm sure that that's what the forums are for, so see you there. best regards, Barrie - BJthe1DJ ps. In case you ask, in the…

Hello, I bought a 2013 reg Civic diesel in May 2016 and I love it to bits. It had done 40+K miles when I bought it as it had been owned by a student who lived just outside Birmingham and was at uni quite a distance away. He obviously used it and kept it well, and his parents made sure all necessary work was done on it. (They were not short of a few bob). That last bit in brackets has likely given my age away, unless you are a younger person who is related to someone my age. I also had a Honda 250 in my younger years, when I was young and carefree and (somewhat) wild. Will spend a little time later today looking through some of the t…

Hi, E.NY1 ordered and should be collected early September, cracking deal £41k 5yrs Servicing, 5yrs Breakdown cover, 0% APR. Having spent some 40yrs in the motor trade, now retired. I for one have not taken any notice whatsoever from Journalists reviews, after all that's all they are, most have no idea about motor vehicles, but good with words. I have had a Fiat 500e for the past three years and now need something a little larger, hence the E.NY1 It fits exactly what we need from a vehicle and from my experience with Honda I have no doubts it will carry on the reliability they are famed for, unlike Fiat. Never, ever listen to opinion, only to those that…

NOT a new topic, but in fact the Holy Grail! How is it possible that such a mundane thing as an exhaust gas temperature sensor is not compatible across a number of vehicles? I've been robbed of my cat and it looks like I'll have to scrap this car which I've only had a for a year. Can anyone help with getting a used one or a generic one or anything?

I've a 2006 CRV my wife had a matching one but we no longer needed two cars so we sold hers. Before this one I had an old Mk1 CRV witch I think is still the best looking CRV. If i win the lottery I'll get another one and get it renovated. I love my CRV Cheers

Hi all, First time Honda owner here, recently bought an FK3 Civic 2.2ctdi. Just saying hi, as you do! 🙂 Although I am new to Honda myself, I am quite familiar with the brand (Family members have owned various CRV/Shuttle/Odysey models for the past 25 years, and I did once own the Rover/Honda 620si). I have previously owned various BMWs (still have an E39) so the civic is my new practical run about and the E39 is going to be my summer car. Just one quick question about the Civic - I have noticed that the temp guage doesn't appear to reach the middle of the guage - it sits slightly below, even after 1hr+ of driving (see pic) Is this normal or does it mea…
