Hi guys a new member here , now on my 5th honda Civic and to be completely honest none of them have cost me any money apart from tyres and if I recall one light bulb. I now own the Honda Civic 1.6 iDTEC ES (2013) and I have got to say with it's performance, ride and economy I think it's the best one yet RonnieB

Hello all, I've just changed my Gen 7 Accord for a FN2 (?) Type S GT. Surprised in the difference from twin cam K20 to the K18. The former growled but I love the buzzy single cam. Looking at options for tuning. What can be achieved with changing/reprogramming chip and breathing on stock internals? Advice on best good quality quiet tyres would be welcomed too. Many thanks.

Hello ! I am new to this site. I have just inherited a 'P' reg Prelude 2.2 VTEC. It's a beautiful car and is a good runner with a recent MOT. However it needs a paint job (the lacquer has peeled) and the headlamps have been bodged so that needs sorting out. Only mechanical issue is that there is a loud squeal on starting that fades after 30 secs or so - I'm told it's the water pump bearing that settles down once the water gets round? Otherwise it's in good nick. I really don't know whether to sell it to an enthusiast as-is (if so where do I advertise it), do it up and sell it then, or just keep it. Anybody able to help will get free beer when we are …

Hi there, just joined group. I own a Japanese import Honda Prelude 4th Gen 2.2 VTEC for past 7 years. Very cool car. Doen loads of work on it and now pretty good condition. Honda UK suggested that I joined club. Should have done it ages ago. Not being used to these forums I may need some instructions how to use. Nice to meet you all. I need help because my car is a Jap import so there is no emission data on it - As a consequence Transport for London cannot decide if it is ULEZ compliant or not. Honda UK say that if I get a chassis number and number plate of any 2.2 VTEC compliant car they can make a comparison judgement and send…

Hello all. I have a barn find. Not really a find as I put it there! SORN since 2014 but I thought I would like to get her roadworthy again. I usually started up every six month or so but have been neglectful lately and it's been a couple of years. Unusual model: Integra XSi, 1990 that I have had since new (import). I had a feeling there was a charging issue but couldn't recall so I put a new battery in (random purchase from Halfords) and she started first time. Checked the battery and had 12.5v. And was charging at 14.5v. So all good. Drove around the field but then I noticed the charge light had come on. And stays on. Any ideas anyone? …

Have owned a 2004 Nissan Elgrand 3.5l E51 for the last 7 years. Love it to bits, but the car and me are both getting a bit long in the tooth, so I decided to buy a newer car. Love 7 seaters as I have two daughters each comprising a family of four and have enjoyed many holidays with each of the families. Probably shouldn't be praising the Elgrand too much in the Honda Owners Club Forum, but it does drive beautifully with 240hp under the bonnet. Despite being 2004 was lucky enough to get ULEZ compliance. The only other downside to this car apart from its age is the fuel consumption. I would guess around town maybe 18mpg. Never really measured it as I didn't want to upset my…

Good evening everyone, just registered here as i believe that there is never enough places where honda is being discussed. In one month i will be owning my accord mk7 2.2 ictdi sport for 10 years. Woohooo what a tine we had together until this point. However, a few days ago i acquired accord 2.2 idtec type s tourer and i am absolutely loving this car! I hope I'll get at least 10 years out of it too as my old accord is still perfect to drive just little bit too outdated.

Names Joe, I live in the states, I have only owned Hondas and my current Acura my whole life. My family got me started with all Hondas as well. My mother owned an 86, 99 and currently 09 accord. My brother owns the 99 Accord now. My father drives a 2000 Odyssey and I previously owned an 02 Accord and now own my 2004 RSX Type S. I love Honda vehicles and enjoy modifying and working on my vehicle myself, I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to maintenance and I go to school for automotive. I am also active on multiple acura forums as well. I like the layout of this forum and will most likely be spending a lot of time here. Cheers Joe

Going to be taking my old 2.2 ictdi mk7 accord on track, as I’m getting a new car in the coming weeks. what performance gains can I get and what mods are available for the N22A2 engines? I have already had an EGR and DPF DELETE, race cat, and straight piped twin tip exhaust, stage 1 remap, battery has been relocated to the boot and a ram air cold air intake fitted. I’m waiting on delivery of a lightweight flywheel, and performance clutch. What further performance mods are available for this engine.

Hi everyone. I've decided that I want to own a beautiful CR-V. I have seen one but for the last 10 days I've been back and forth repeatedly to the point of madness and so was hoping for some advice. The model is 2011 EX 2.2. It is in beautiful condition both inside and out. It has full service history BUT it has 95000. Now, I fully intend to run it for the next three/four years but my doubts are; 1. I've never owned a diesel so what about the Turbo life? 2. The DPF baffles me. How can I check it? 3. The high miles i.e should I be bracing myself for major work? The car is beautiful and the car dealer is VERY patient but not for much longer I feel. …

Hey folks! After owning several civic EJ9's for the first 4 years of my driving career, I managed to snag myself a DC5 Integra Type R. Owned it for about a year now but finally getting round to putting myself out there! I'm pretty new to the K series motor and will have to beg for patience when it comes to knowledge because i'm completely new to actually trying to learn about my car and all it's glory! Probably will ask some silly questions that have been answered before.. Sorry in advance ~ Matt 😉

Hi all. I have had a 2008 Mk 8 Honda Accord 2.4 auto (200bhp) saloon with ADAS for 9 years. 100,000 miles. No problems and it is a fabulous, reliable and good looking car. Except last January 2022 my Satnav stopped working and the clock went several hours out. I went into the menu but no go. I took the disc out and several weeks later the Satnav started working but it didn’t show time for trip etc. But yesterday…surprise, the clock righted itself (an hour slow) but duration time of journey now shows! A long winded story. I presume it will correct itself in October when the clocks go back! Anybody else have a similar experience. Nick

DA, have just started getting a metallic scraping noise from the rear nearside when turning right. It's going in tomorrow as they said it might be the brake rear plate scratching. Do the 2011 CRV's have brake sensors on them, and the other strange thing is when I apply the brake it stops the grinding noise. May be a wheel bearing I guess it has 92K on the clock.

Hello other Honda people and particularly Jazz people. I have joined this site as my catalytic converter has been stolen and I found out from the internet that Honda Jazz and Toyota Prius are the most targeted cars. I am going to fix it it myself as the Honda quote was an eye watering £2500 which is about the value of my car. I would like help with some questions about parts and things which I will post in the appropriate place on this site. Please have a look at my posts and PLEASE try and respond to me. Thanks
