2008 to 2015 Accord

Hi all, My car used to display an orange spanner symbol in the centre part of the Speedo clock when it needed a service. After servicing the car I could always reset the counter. But recently I notice that the service counter is blank (3 dashes) and doesn't appear to be counting anymore. Is there a way of re-activating it as I'm concerned it also has a link to the DPF regen system?

Having searched on line and a large selection of breakers yards for parking sensors for my Buran silver 2011 Accord w/o success, how can I obtain these (Pt No 39680-TLO-GO1YB, Col. code NH743M ) w/o paying the megabucks required by the dealer?.

hey guys having issues with my 2.2 dtec accord. i bought car from a garage in southampton and had it delivered to me in gloucestershire, car seemed ok but a bit down on power anyway a week after i got it on a friday dpf light come up and went into limp mode. took car to honda dealer and had force regen went much better after that. 2 weeks later on a friday wtf dpf light comes on again, getting a bit pissed off with car already now lol. my mechanic got his mate who is a proffesional dpf cleaner to come and clean dpf, great sorted he said dpf is totally clean nice one. a few weeks later ffs dpf light again comes up and bloody limp mode, am really sick of this car now and ga…

On inspection I have found that both of my rear tyres are worn on the inside, car has done 160K. Have I a bush problem, I haven't got a broken spring.

My faithful Honda died on me for the 1st time in 300000 miles. Car suddenly cut out displaying fuel injection fault. Green flag was unable to fix at side of road due to no tools and diagnostic tool wouldn't connect and I quote mechanic " this piddly thing is useless, not like those large diagnostic tools in dealerships" Joke. why does my Honda at 2000 revs feel like it’s going into limp mode it will not pick up speed at 60 mph - please help

HI I've not used the Accord since London ULEZ came into force on the 29/08/23. I went to turn it over today and it was practically dead. Jump started it OK but then the power steering warning light came on. This went off when I revved the engine so thought that was down to a low battery. Left the engine running for about 10 minutes with the occasional bit of revving but after a while other warning lights came on (VSA I think). I turned it off and tried to restart but it was dead again. Anyone have any ideas as to why? Thanks in advance for any help.

My 2012 Accord 2.2 i-DTEC (mileage: 72.5K) had a "DPF Check System" warning sign popped up last week. Car was then booked in to investigate problem with Honda dealer yesterday. Problem was then solved with a forced regeneration on the DPF with cleaner fluid. However, when I started my engine earlier today, it comes with a strange noise during the start up (same even when I repeat). Hello, I've got a Accord tourer 2011 with stock navigation system. Maps on dvd. Is it possible to get updates for the maps? It's east europe (nordic countries) I'm interested in. The version I've got is 3.41 and I belive there should be newer. My dealer could not help me.

Does anyone know if the powered wing mirror assembly can be fully broken down? The silver part of mine is damaged, but the black lower half is fine. I can purchase a 2nd hand one I've seen, where the lower half is damaged but the top is in good condition. Therefore ideally I would like buy that, remove the silver casing part and fit it to mine... Anyone know if this is doable or am I restricted into getting a whole new assembly, thanks in advance? Andy

Hello all earlier on today I hit a pothole whilst out in my honda accord, it made an almighty bang i slowed down went to change gear and it wouldn't allow me to it will just stay in neutral not allowing me to change gear. I can change gear when the ignition is off no problem, which points to a clutch problem I know. What I'm wondering is has anyone ever known of a pothole impact to actually cause damage to the clutch? I have music on a USB stick. When I plug the stick into my usb socket in my arm rest of my 2012 Honda Accord it plays fine. BUT I need also to plug my wife's mobile into same socket. Hello all, Would anybody know how to obtain radio serial number for the radio? Battery disconnected, lost radio code. Dealership want silly money to resolve. Need Radio serial number to use online web site? I have tried YouTube recommendations pressing pre-set buttons 1 & 6 , 2 & 6. Nothing. Would the radio serial number be on the Sat nav unit? I have always installed cold air intakes on my cars but I’m having a hard time finding a cold air intake / air induction kit for my 2009 accord 2.0 petrol v-tec 🤷🏻 I’ve found many for the 2.4 versions and 3.6 but nothing for the 2.0 ? I'm having a lot of issues with the Voice Recognition on my Accord. Changed my phone recently so had to face the dreaded voice recognition on it, and it literally doesn't listen... instead "Phone Setup" command just adjusts the fan speed 😕 and as the Bluetooth config is entirely hidden behind this blasted thing, it's impossible for me to configure the hands free now. Checked the usual - such as making sure the language is set properly on the navigation (battery was changed over Christmas) - but nothing seems to be sorting this out. Any suggestions on what to look at here?

I have a problem with my 2014 honda accord; I bought the car at an auction and now I am trying to fix it and drive it. The problem is this: the left headlight is always on (the bulb which is always in is H1) even after I take the key out and lock it. I've checked all the fuses and cables and can't figure out why this is happening? After removing the cover that is for the driver's fuses I saw a cable hanging and I can't find where it should be inserted or is it just for some additional function. Please advise if the problem is coming from this cable or should I look for the problem elsewhere? I am attaching the picture of this cable. Thanks.

I am planning to buy a used Accord 2.0L gasoline Tourer. It uses similar engine as civic 1.8L SOHC which has less problem in oil consumption than 2.4L or older 2.0L engines. Hello, I've joined this group in the hope that someone can help me diagnose and fix a problem with my 2010 honda Type S when accelerating between 40-50mph my car vibrates from the front passenger side. Wheel alignment checked, Wheels checked and swapped, tyres changed too, yet the issue persists. Has anyone suffered from similar and if so how did you fix it?
