Civic 2000 to 2006

I need to replace the front two tyres on my Honda Civic. Have never done so before. What price range should I be looking at? Looking to get midrange ones. Don't want to cheap out. Any brands to avoid? Anything to look at for? Any help appreciated.

Hi All, I have got a Honda Civic 1.7CDTI 2005 and was wondering if anyone else has been able to fit LED headlight bulbs to the car. The current bulbs are HB4 9006, i did buy a cheap set the once but they didnt seem to fit as it was too long. When the bulb went in as it hit the front of the where it is housed in the headlight it would go off because of it touching?

Have just had a new steering rack fitted.- won't go there! awful The car radio was okay and working when the car went in to the gge for a new steering rack . As always, they never reset the radio with date & time etc.. It's now showing Code E - it won't accept the 5 digit code . I've checked the manual- there's nothing in there. about code E I can't set the time either. I've always managed to reset the time and get the radio going before, but have never seen code E... Hi there, Well Basically I cleaned the front of the headlights today but I noticed a fair bit of moisture inside the light. Does anyone have any tips on how to stop moisture from getting in? I don't have a problem taking them off. I will probably do it tomorrow as I have a 160 mile night trip to do. I read somewhere that you can take it out and fill it with water to see where water is getting in? I don't really want to but new lights if possible. Also I have a puddle under my spare wheel in the boot. It's quite a lot of water in there. Is it probably the boot seal? tia

I was just wondering if the parts from a standard civic can be used on a type r engine! I am very new to honda, I've never owned one before but have done a timing belt change on a mates 52 plate 2 door coupe a little while ago! Basically I have a k20 a2 on the way to go into my fd, I'm trying to keep the costs down a little so I've picked up a low compression block. I'll be needing things like alternator, throttle body inlets and things like that and was just wondering if parts like this are interchangeable with standard civics. Hello, I'm new to this community but have a very strange issue and really hope someone can shed some light as it's driving me mad. When the rear seat belts are fully extended and the mechanism starts winding them up, it doesn't release until the seat belt is completely retracted if that makes sense. My wife is pregnant atm and needs a bit more seat belt when sitting in the back but when she pulls it a bit more It reaches a point where the mechanism starts making this clicking sound while retracting and it can only go in one direction, it no longer releases until it's completely retracted. I was looking at a Honda Civic Hatchback on autotrader, saw one going for 1,100, though it has few issues front left fender has a massive dent, front bumper needs either to be replaced or fixed, plus the passenger side wing mirror needs to be either replaced or repaired. 04 Type S 2.0 L 5 door. Original radio/CD player. Does anyone know if there is an 'AUX' input on the back? If so it may be worth me taking the unit out so I can arrange connection of external devices such as phone/MP3 player etc. If not....and given that half the dash and probably the engine, have to come out to allow radio removal..maybe not worth the bother...

I have got a 2004 Honda Civic 1.7 CTDi 2 door hatch. It has the in tank Denso 17708-S6F-E31 electric fuel pump. I know the pump is out of production (Stupid!) but does anyone know where i can get the in tank Filter? or some sort of conversion pump. I feel like i am banging my head on a wall. Many thanks

Hi Guys, I recently purchased a Honda Civic 2005, 1.6 Engine, Petrol. It had its timing belt changed in 2014 at 49300 miles. 6 years later its done around 55000 miles. Do I need to change the timing belt, or can I continue using it as is?

Hello, This may be an obvious question, but are UK / US engine parts interchangeable? I'm helping a friend with a head gasket change, and I can't seem to find a 1.6L head gasket on rockauto, and I'm not sure where to find a reputable vendor. The websites I've tried have been decent, but nothing I feel confident in buying. He has a 2006 Hatchback, 1.6L, for reference.
