Hi, I have a 2005 2.2 i-ctdi saloon. Love it to bits, but..... Now and again, when I accelerate fairly hard in 2nd or 3rd, the engine will die momentarily and then pick up speed as normal. Not the end of the world I know, but quite disconcerting when you are in mid-overtaking mode. I have also experienced this at it's extreme causing the car to go into limp-mode very occasionally until the vehicle is left switched off for a while. Anyone got any ideas as to what the cause might be? Appreciate any help on this :)

HELP. I am not a member but am seeking help to get an English manual for the infotainment system in my Honda City (Thailand). It is mostly easy to operate but there are some aspects that I just can't seem to resolve - need a manual. I have searched the net for hours and hours for 4 years and my dealer can't help. Now I have retired here I want to get full use of the system. It's an older model (image at https://www.wapcar.my/news/deal-breaker-we-love-the-honda-jazz-but-we-just-cant-live-with-the-infotainment-system-1866 ). Any pointers, especially to a soft copy, would be gratefully received. Not worried if I have to pay. Thanks and Regards, Ian Breach

Hi. I a new member. Just changed my wife's great but ageing 2.0 Civic Sport for a 2006 Jazz which has the N/S door mirror hanging off. The stumpy bit is still attached to the door by 3 10mm nuts but the mirror housing itself has some broken fragments of plastic round the bottom, held in with 3 small screws, and the whole lot appears to have been held together with a large amount of black caulk. I can't see any pictures on line of what it should look like to start a repair so wonder if anyone can help please. Otherwise I'll have to dismantle the O/S mirror to see what is inside it and I 'd prefer not to have to do that in case it is fragile and goes the same way as the ot…

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can give me some help and advice here as I've tried a few garages so far and gotten nowhere. My engine has some strange/erratic behaviour on light loads - Sometimes it will stutter/Kangaroo before coming to life, other times it will have almost no response to the throttle initially then when you press it a little harder it revs frantically like its running away. This only seems to happen within the first half inch of pedal travel, so what you use when pulling away gently in city driving and slow cruises. At heavier loads i.e. accelerating with more vigour or faster cruises say 50mph+ these faults do not occur. It is only in stop/…

Hi All If anyone is looking for a really good Body Repair Specialist in the Dorset Area, I can thoroughly recommend Simon whose number is 07873-479616 , He has repaired a few dents and scrapes on my Night Hawk Black CRV and is a true professional , I have always been more than pleased with the finish of the work he has done on my car . Nice Guy , good prices and I'm sure he will give you excellent results as he has done so for me., Sometimes its a good idea to pass a recommendation on to others who may be looking for work to be done on their vehicle. Best Regards BAZZER RN 1

Hi all I would like to pose a question to the group. We have a CRV on 3 year lease hire which is due to expire on 8/6/11. We have been discussing a replacement with our local dealer for some time, certainly before the Japanese disaster. Not unexpectedly deliveries on the CRV we want have gone out of the window and it may even be August before we see a car. So what to do about the current one?. Our Honda dealer says we can continue to pay the monthly hire charge (we are ok on that) but he also wants us to pay for an MOT and a service for a car that we might only have for a few weeks. This doesn't seem fair to us. What do others think Chris Redwingtwo

Hi, I have a 1980 Civic imported from Malta. In order to register in the UK, the DVLA require proof of manufacture from Honda or an owner's club. I contacted Honda UK who then contacted Japan but, strangely, they said they can't date it. Can anyone here help? Pic (not great) attached for interest!
