Hi All If anyone is looking for a really good Body Repair Specialist in the Dorset Area, I can thoroughly recommend Simon whose number is 07873-479616 , He has repaired a few dents and scrapes on my Night Hawk Black CRV and is a true professional , I have always been more than pleased with the finish of the work he has done on my car . Nice Guy , good prices and I'm sure he will give you excellent results as he has done so for me., Sometimes its a good idea to pass a recommendation on to others who may be looking for work to be done on their vehicle. Best Regards BAZZER RN 1

I have a 16 registration Honda Jazz (automatic) but have done only 28,000 miles in it. (I got it less than a year ago with 19,000 miles on the clock from the dealership it had been bought from and serviced by). It now has just 28,000 miles on the clock but today I found that it needed new brake pads and discs on both front and rear brakes and had to pay £691 for this. (Same dealership). I was informed by the dealership / service centre that the 'new' '16 plates Hondas had different brake components and maybe they wear out more quickly. I think that to have to pay loads of money every 3 years (at 10,000 miles a year) is unacceptable. Is this normal or am I just unlu…

My 2021 CR-V went into Brayley’s Honda, Ewell on 17 December 2024 and they identified the problem as the Brake Pedal Simulator. The part was ordered on 18 December, none were available in the UK so the part was put on ‘back order’ and finally arrived from Japan on 14 March. With the repair completed, I got the car back on 19 March 2025 after 92-days! Have to say that Brayley’s, who thought I qualified for a complementary hire car were pretty good but Honda UK were awful. They said that I was not entitled to a hire car as my vehicle was out of warranty even though the repair was being fixed as a ‘warranty’ repair and Honda were picking up the full cost of the part and …

Hi, I'm thinking of buying a classic Prelude and wanted to know which the best ones are. My dad had a 92 Accord which I loved and I been looking at a 2000 Prelude. I remember Rover having an influence in later 90s cars and wanted to avoid those, but did this extend to the prelude? Also are there any to avoid? I've seen 4 stud and 5 stud hubs and wondered why there were 2 types produced. If anyone can help it would be appreciated!

  7. Dear Members, I am looking for some advice.I have a 2019 Honda Civic VTEC 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder petrol automatic. No problems until two days ago. To explain - I am currently unable to drive due to a medical problem but should be resuming driving on May 7th (7 month ban). In order to stop the battery going flat I have run the engine (with car stationary) every 3 weeks for 15 minutes. Two days ago I tried to start the car. It would not start and I thought a nearly dead battery was the problem. I trickle charged the battery for 24 hours and tried again today. Dash lights up and starter motor turns but engine will not start. Any suggestions on likely causes and s…

  10. Cat Burglar nicked my Cat. Neighbours had CCTV of the theft. It happened at 11:30 am, took 40 seconds. Trolley jack and a pipe cutter of some sort. They cut the wires to the lambda sensors and cut through the exaust pipes in front and behind the Cat. The rear cut was through the mid section exhaust pipe so that also needs replacing. OK I have questions that I need help with. Honda wanted over 2K for the parts, (Cat, 2 lambda sensors, mid section of exhaust pipe, and fitting kit.) OEM parts at that price are not an option so I went to the internet. My first problem/question was /is identifying my cars details . Some sites asked for the reg number so that…

Hi,first post here after owning an FRV for 7 years. All of a sudden when trying to open the door with fob the locks click open and shut again within a second. If quick enough you can open the door if timed right but that's it and the rest of the car stays shut, even locking you in the car until forcing the little lock part towards door to get out. Any ideas what the problem is? It did stop for a day or two then came back again

Hi , I thought I would share this tip with you, I have been using DiamondBrite Ceramic Glaze for a while after washing my CRV and the results are fantastic, It comes in a Spray Bottle and its easy to use, it puts a ceramic glaze protective coating on the paintwork and provides excellent beading when it rains. its not that expensive and gives a mirror like finish after use, My car is Night Hawk Black so not easy to keep clean but this certainly helps.Give it a try and let other Members know if your as pleased as I am with the result Just a Tip Guys BAZZER RN 1
