Just checked my 2008 mK3 CRV on the Government Website to find out if it is Dreaded ULEZ Compliant, Thankfully it is, Its worth checking Folks because even if you do not go to London, They have proposed that it is going to be rolled out across other Counties and Cities in the near future, another Money Spinner from the Motorist, 🤑 Worth checking out now just put your Reg Number in to find out if yours is compliant. 6. The time has come for me to part with my Honda HRV 2002. It is worth very little on the open market but I'm hoping someone who loves these cars as much as I do might like to consider it. I don't know how to go about finding a match, so thought a shout out in here might be worth a try. I'm in Cobham, Surrey

  8. Hi everybody, Today I would like to share something about installing 15mm+20mm BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers for my Honda Civic 10th(FC) with you. My Honda Civic 10th(FC): Chassis model: X (FC) PCD: 5*114.3 mm CB: 64.1 mm Thread: M12*1.5 mm I got them on eBay, took me several days to receive them. I can't wait to install them on my vehicle. But before you choose the right spacers, you need to measure the thickness data that fit the wheels: Cleaning the wheel hub: Much better after cleaning. Now let's get to the installation part: Since I get the right data, I can install them easily! Let's t…

My gen 9 civic 1.6 DTEC is in need of a few brake related parts. Local Honda dealership price and availability of brake caliper seal kits £70 per axel and ordered from Brussels. Jeeze there's only 1 ring seal and 1 expanding boot seal per caliper. I questioned if this was the complete caliper or just the seals. Appears the calipers are near £500 per corner. Halfords and the likes will only supply complete calipers, looking to increase their profits. I'm going to require discs, pads and brake fluid can anyone advise a cheap reliable one stop shop or do I need to search tinternet. Love my Honda though its not without design problems. Cant see speedometer as steering w…

The key objective for comfortable, economical, and safe driving is ‘smoothness’: the absence of sudden or rapid changes in speed or direction. Smooth driving will also reduce the loading and wear on a car’s suspension, brakes, tyres, and drive train. The car’s intelligent sensing functions can be very helpful, but they are far from perfect and left to themselves they will not always provide a smooth drive. This then, is the intelligent driver’s challenge: to anticipate when the sensing functions will not be helpful and cancel/reset them as appropriate. In free-flowing traffic, use ACC in Normal/Econ mode*, set the target speed at what would be…

  17. Dear Members, I am looking for some advice.I have a 2019 Honda Civic VTEC 1.0 litre, 3 cylinder petrol automatic. No problems until two days ago. To explain - I am currently unable to drive due to a medical problem but should be resuming driving on May 7th (7 month ban). In order to stop the battery going flat I have run the engine (with car stationary) every 3 weeks for 15 minutes. Two days ago I tried to start the car. It would not start and I thought a nearly dead battery was the problem. I trickle charged the battery for 24 hours and tried again today. Dash lights up and starter motor turns but engine will not start. Any suggestions on likely causes and s…

Hi everyone. I have just joined the forum to see if I am just unlucky! I have a Jazz Sport that is only 10 months old. So far.... , the stop start system has failed and has to be reset by the dealer. a brand new clutch fitted as the one out of the factory was slipping badly as it was covered in grease, now the infotainment system has completely failed and I am waiting a new one. my dealer is very embarrassed by these faults and I am losing faith in the car. anyone else had such issues? Should I just cut my losses and sell up? Did not think Friday cars were possible these days!! thanks for any advice …

  24. Cat Burglar nicked my Cat. Neighbours had CCTV of the theft. It happened at 11:30 am, took 40 seconds. Trolley jack and a pipe cutter of some sort. They cut the wires to the lambda sensors and cut through the exaust pipes in front and behind the Cat. The rear cut was through the mid section exhaust pipe so that also needs replacing. OK I have questions that I need help with. Honda wanted over 2K for the parts, (Cat, 2 lambda sensors, mid section of exhaust pipe, and fitting kit.) OEM parts at that price are not an option so I went to the internet. My first problem/question was /is identifying my cars details . Some sites asked for the reg number so that…
