Anyone know if the oil dilution is an issue for the UK models?

Hi guys I am a honda type r ower and the VSA sign has come up on my car. Been to a few garages but cant find anyone that can sort it. Any recommendations?

Excuse this tech question in 'general' but the answer could come from any model... Is there any way to fit a CVT transmission to a B20B engine? I hate the auto in my 96 Stepwagon and I love CVTs!

Hi everyone I have just joined and really could do with some help I need to fine out the gearbox oil floor on my automatic gearbox as I look at the front of the engine there are the two pipes but I need to know witch is flow and witch is return if anyone could help I would be grateful thanks Chris (MotorEd)

My 2021 CR-V went into Brayley’s Honda, Ewell on 17 December 2024 and they identified the problem as the Brake Pedal Simulator. The part was ordered on 18 December, none were available in the UK so the part was put on ‘back order’ and finally arrived from Japan on 14 March. With the repair completed, I got the car back on 19 March 2025 after 92-days! Have to say that Brayley’s, who thought I qualified for a complementary hire car were pretty good but Honda UK were awful. They said that I was not entitled to a hire car as my vehicle was out of warranty even though the repair was being fixed as a ‘warranty’ repair and Honda were picking up the full cost of the part and …

Good evening fellow Hondeers. I am currently broken hearted at the discovery of a circular scratch on the front passenger door after only 2 weeks of owning my beautiful CR-V. I was recommended Meguairs Scratch X 2.0 at my local Halfords as I can't feel the scratch with my fingernail. I'm afraid of permanently damaging the paintwork though. Does anyone have any experience of using this? It cost a tenner but I'll bin it if I have to. A local body shop said I'd be looking at about £120 which I think is a bit steep! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

hi so I have two remote fobs for a 2009 Honda Civic and they are beginning to not work very well. You have to press loads of times for the thing to lock or unlock. I have obviously cleaned the connections and changed the batteries, but they must be 16 years old.....so they are wearing out. so my question is this, can you replace the fobs 3rd party without having to pay the million pound to Honda? I noticed Amazon selling the shell to these fobs, but they have like 3 star ratings so I dont trust them. The keys still work in the doors, but would prefer the fobs to work thanks

Hi All I live in Spain and we have a Mk1 CRV with 285,000km on the clock. Its Automatic and seems to work okay... although I am not 100% confident with it yet. Its had a major service and the head gasket done, along with cambelt and fan bets etc. I notice the revs go quite low at times when at idle and sometimes it feels like it is holding back, I am convinced there are a few sensors that are on their way out but as yet it is not showing any fault codes. Hi.I have had my 2020 Jazz for 2 months.I have had this same issue happen approx 10 times & wondered if anyone could advise please.When I have been driving with cruise control on for some unknown reason the cruise control seems to stop working & whatever I seem to press it won’t activate again until I come to a complete stop either behind traffic,roundabout or traffic lights.When I press the cruise control button the symbol is lit up in white but another symbol appears to the right of it saying “cruise control off”.Every time I press the cruise control button this comes up until I brake & stop completely.I have been on the motorway for 40 odd miles before bein…

Anyone know where I can obtain a matt black cover to prevent sunshine glare from the shiny dash reflecting glare on the windscreen? Also, do Honda offer an aftrrmarket catalytic conveter protection cage? I gather Honda cars are espeiecially prone to having their cats stolen... or maybe a specialist company alternative supplier?

For the past few days I have been trying to register my new Bike, my issue is, the model as per Honda website is CB 125 R, but, that is not true. When I checked the documents that I have received from Honda it states as CBF 125 NA. The issue is, when filling up the model in any website or by phone, the only models they have are CBF 125 N Abs (13bhp) or CB 125 R (13bhp).
