Hi, I'm thinking of buying a classic Prelude and wanted to know which the best ones are. My dad had a 92 Accord which I loved and I been looking at a 2000 Prelude. I remember Rover having an influence in later 90s cars and wanted to avoid those, but did this extend to the prelude? Also are there any to avoid? I've seen 4 stud and 5 stud hubs and wondered why there were 2 types produced. If anyone can help it would be appreciated!

Hi. I've recently purchased a 2007 FRV automatic petrol and at around 60mph from the off side front A pillar area I am getting like a buzzing/wind noise from around that area. I've removed the trim and driven it again and it is still there so not a trim issue. It must be speed related as it does not happen below that speed on all types of road surfaces. Is there any issues with the windscreen seal or A pillar window seal. It sounds like it's by the air bag area. Any ideas would be great. Many thanks and stay safe.

Hi - dipping toes in here - new UK owner of 1998 Stepwagon (import) with LPG, 125k miles. So now beginning to learn Honda lore - for example, suspension - mine is full of clonks and the handling is soggy. AFAIK mk1 Stepwagon is related to CR-V and Civic of that era, so I wonder if it's therefore also related to Rover 400. Shopping for suspension parts e.g. on ebay, what models to search for and shd I check out Rover as well? With Honda, is it usual to get new wishbones, links etc, or fit new bushes to existing, and does that require presses or separators? Questions like that - all tips gratefully received.

I've been reading around, and I'm getting a general sense that for some reason the 1.5 is just as economical, if not, more economical at motorway speeds compared to the 1 litre version? However there are oil diultion issues with the 1.5 litre engines isn't there (or does this not affect 2018+ models)? Or is that just a problem with very cold countries? It looks like Honda has stopped the 1.5 litre production for now as I went to their website and the 1.5 litre engine option is now greyed out across all the civic range? Also keen to get one in black so it looks clean (I think it hides the fake vents and stuff).

Hi, We own a 2009 Honda Crv EX 2.2 diesel car for a year now. A couple of months back we've noticed the car battery went dead twice on us so we decided to invest in a new one. To our surprise 2 weeks later the new one went dead too! So we swapped the old battery (thankfully didn't get rid of it!) and charged up the new one (also double checking nothing had been left on inside the car). After 3 days when opening the car door, I strangely saw the sat Nav fascia was stuck half open (like it had a power surge) and low and behold, battery dead again. All becoming a bit like groundhog day now, so decided to get it booked in with the mechanics for the f…

Hey, I used to have a 53plate accord 2l i-vetch sport and it had a fab sound system as standard. Someone told me it was bose, however there were no branding tags to suggest that.. I now have a civic type s and its pants in comparison. Does anyone know what the audio equipment was used in the accord? I've tried to google but cant find anything concrete. I'd like to replicate as close as possible into the civic. Tia

Hi All I live in Spain and we have a Mk1 CRV with 285,000km on the clock. Its Automatic and seems to work okay... although I am not 100% confident with it yet. Its had a major service and the head gasket done, along with cambelt and fan bets etc. I notice the revs go quite low at times when at idle and sometimes it feels like it is holding back, I am convinced there are a few sensors that are on their way out but as yet it is not showing any fault codes. In January I need to drive the car back to England and then back to Spain, in all about 3000 miles. Ive done the drive many times in old transit vans and land rovers but never in anything as n…

Hi everybody, Today I would like to share something about installing 15mm+20mm BONOSS Forged Active Cooling Wheel Spacers for my Honda Civic 10th(FC) with you. My Honda Civic 10th(FC): Chassis model: X (FC) PCD: 5*114.3 mm CB: 64.1 mm Thread: M12*1.5 mm I got them on eBay, took me several days to receive them. I can't wait to install them on my vehicle. But before you choose the right spacers, you need to measure the thickness data that fit the wheels: Cleaning the wheel hub: Much better after cleaning. Now let's get to the installation part: Since I get the right data, I can install them easily! Let's t…

Hi all. I'm new to car forums but I thought I would give it a go, I have a problem my CRV 2008, that mechanic can't cure. I keep getting an intermittent vibration coming up through the steering wheel, sometimes it lasts for a second or two, other times it can last as much as twenty seconds.. Sometimes this is so bad the windscreen shakes as well. I happens all the time but it is more noticeable while on cruise control at between 38 and 40mph. Has anybody heard of this or knows something about it. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

Hi Guys our trusty Honda Jazz I VTEC ES CVT 2011 has just been written off by some clown driving into the back of it. IK had purchased a spare 15 inch wheel for it as a spare, haven't got anytime for the fancy gunk and pump. We have now purchased a 2019 Jazz I-VTEC EX Navi CVT that doesn't even haver a jack with it let alone a spare wheel. I have made enquiries at my local supplier and he tells me they can't get me a spare wheel, albeit they did get me one for my 2011 jazz. I've asked the guys in the dealership and they tell me you can't put a full size spare in the boot of the new jazz as it would lift the floor level of the boot and would not be legal when taking the MO…
