How do I replace the plastic headlamp lens on a 2006 mk2 crv

Hi All, I have a 06 CR-V CDTi, which is awesome, and I love it. It has however developed a problem. I put the key in the ignition and the lights come on the dashboard , but not the EML and coil light. Turn it off and on again , sometimes many times , and eventually they come on ,and then you can start it. its really bugging me. Could it be the Key code reader or Immobilizer . HELP PLEASE!

Brief synopsis: The car is an 11 reg plate and as one who drives around loads with the job I was getting sick of road layouts being different in reality to what the sat nav still thought. I purchased a newer disc (eBay, sorry!) and it worked fine for quite some time. It then began to produce an error and told me to contact the manufacturer. So the saga continues, have had problems since day 1 with wobble from my CR-V. 2007, MK2, 2.0 Petrol, Manual. When i got it, at 50 mph the side to side wobble in the car was pretty bad. Had the wheels balanced - no change Changed the drivers side drive shaft - seemed to fix the problem, except a slight wobble at 20mph. Drove to france towing a caravan, something let go bad, the wobble got super bad. Ordered a 2nd hand drive shaft and intermediate shaft from eBay - wobble mostly gone, except at 55mph again it would do it Ordered an Intermediate shaft from AUTODOC, went to fit it last night... total garbage. Hello there, my keyless entry has packed up,no previous signs of trouble, key remote fob ok, press the button, zilch, no noise, flashing lights or anything. I'm hoping it's a fuse, but I need to get the bonnet open from ouside, anyone got any ideas please?

Looking to 1> Remove the error message for tne screen. 2> Get a working SatNav for the car. Can find them on eBay but none of them state that theyr'e suitable for the 2005 CR-V, and asking the sellers a question (I've messaged three of them) gets me no reply at all. Have a new, to me, CR-V - but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the interior lights to come on when the front doors open. There are just two switches, right and left, on the interior light - and they just turn the individual lights on and off; and if you leave them switehed on they drain the battery. I need new tyres, what are the best for long life, at the moment i have Bridgestone Duelers fitted. Also the nearside rear tyre is wearing on the outside edge, i would appreciate some thoughts on this.

Had a flashing Green D (Drive) light on the CRV this afternoon, it lasted for about 2 minutes. A minute from home we noticed the flashing D light. Parked in the drive and turned off the ignition. Checked the manual, It said 'Possible transmission problem'. May sometimes be accompanied with a warning sign as well if there is a problem. There was no warning sign that I was aware of, but I went back out to check. When I started the engine everything was as normal. No flashing D light and no warning light. I have not seen the flashing light since.. has anyone else had this?

Hello everyone. Can anyone advise me on the subject of CR-V headlamp glass. Mine are a slightly cloudy finish which doesn't wipe away. Can anyone tell me if it's a permanent effect that is impossible to remove or polish out, or can the effect be removed somehow. I see that replacements are expensive even from breakers yards. I'm trying to fault find a 2006 RD9 2.2 Diesel CR-V. Intermittent crank no start. When working (i.e. crank and start) ignition is switched on a range of lights illuminate on the dash, including EML and Glow-plug light. After 2 seconds, glow plug and EML go out. Turn key to start, Engine cranks and starts. When not working (i.e. crank no start) ignition is switched on a range of lights illuminate on the dash excluding EML and Glow-plug light. From this initial position, if I turn key to start, engine will crank but not start. Turning ignition off and back on again repeatedly (1-25 times) will eventually see the correct EML and glow plug light briefly illuminate a…

Hi my car is a 2006 2.2 diesel CRV. I keep getting the following fault on my diagnostic unit. I have read this relates to the heater plugs but they are all working well and I can get the fault for several minutes after getting going. After that it stays off until the next time you use it. It puts the car into limp mode so I am presently resetting it every time I use the car which is a pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Have a MK2 2003 with 205/70/15 wheels and tyres. Someone is offering to sell 225/60/18 which are in great condition. Forgive my total ignorance but would the 18's be usable on the MK2 ?
