Hello; how do I adjust the aim of the screen washers please? Currently far too low, any speed over 50ish means they hit the underside of the wipers in the park position. Mine's a 2014 model. Thanks

Hi all sorry to ask another question but we have a leak under the car every time we use the fan in the car on air con or not and there is a pool of liquid under the car when we have parked up. I have checked all the fluids that I can and taken the car to the garage but he cant see anything. I thought it might be a leaking air con but it also happens with just the blower on. Thank you again for any advice.

Dear All, I need your support on some issues which I'm currently facing since day one of my purchase. I live in the Middle East and have purchased a brand new Honda CRV 2019. 1) The vehicle center top dome light works but it is actually supposed to get dim gradually and automatically go off once I get inside and switch on the engine. However, the lights only get illuminated when I open the door and remain continually on and I dunno why this problem exists. I tried changing the setting in the three stages available, however no use. 2) When I turn on the ignition I start playing the audio (MP3) from my USB the track plays properly however after approx 2 minutes the…

Hi, my car drives lovely but draws me to ask about the auto gear selection and if this is typical with other like model owners. When cruising on a motorway at 70mph on a level road the car sits in 8th gear at around 1800 rpm and if on a slight gradient it drops to 7th. I don’t seem to experience it using 9th gear for cruising. If I sneek up to around 80 mph, It appears I still have to manually select 9th with the paddles, it will then change up to 9th but unless going downhill it soon goes back to 8th. Is this how the car is designed to run in regards to the gears and 9th not being used when at our national speed limit? I have contacted Honda and oddly, they dont know …

Just wondered if anyone knew if the US rear wiper motors are the same as the UK. The reason I'm asking is that a new one from the US on Amazon is £70, about the same price as a secondhand one in the UK.

Hi. I have a 2016 1.6 I-Dtec SR CRV. It has the engine warning light on which has been diagnosed with needing a new 'Air fuel ratio sensor 1'. The error code are Error code: P0133 and P2A00 The local Honda dealer has quoted me over 700 pounds to supply and fit the replacement sensor.. the car drives fine and fuel consumption is normal. So i'm looking to get a non-Honda replacement and a local specialist has recommended Denso as a alternative, but the problem is finding and sourcing the sensor needed. The Honda part number is Part number: H36531RZ0G01 Does anyone know where I can source a replacement sensor and what product numbe…

As previously mentioned, I bought a 2010 CR-V awd auto with 57,000 mileage several months ago. Happy with it except for excessive road noise. When I look down in the engine bay, past the engine I expected to see some sort of under body tray which would hopefully lessen the noise but I can see straight down to the road. So I wondered whether at some previous service a tray or cover(s?) had been left off by accident. Or does it fact not need one? If one is needed I would be very grateful for the correct part description. Many thanks for any advice you can give me. Brian Pfeiffer

Hi, Having had several months with an audio problem with my mk 4 (2015) CR-V I thought others may benefit from my resolution! Problem As topic title, I experienced a buzzing/electrical noise back in spring 2022 after a 30-minute drive in the rain. I’ve checked the micro blade fuses under the bonnet and passenger glove compartment and all are intact. The rear speakers are operating normally, so it’s only the front speakers with the problem. The unwanted noise seems to differ. It’s more obvious (higher pitch) when accelerating compared to coasting (foot off the accelerator). You do hear a difference too when changing gears. The Bluetooth ph…

Hi all. I'm new to car forums but I thought I would give it a go, I have a problem my CRV 2008, that mechanic can't cure. I keep getting an intermittent vibration coming up through the steering wheel, sometimes it lasts for a second or two, other times it can last as much as twenty seconds.. Sometimes this is so bad the windscreen shakes as well. I happens all the time but it is more noticeable while on cruise control at between 38 and 40mph. Has anybody heard of this or knows something about it. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

We purchased a 2 wheel drive 2014 CRV in 2017 with 33,000 miles from a Honda dealer. On way home we noticed it shuddered at 60 mph. Took it back and eventually they changed both driveshafts. Fast forward another 36,000 miles and it’s started again. Honda have said it needs new Driveshafts again at a cost of £2,000. Cars now 8 years old and completed 70,000 miles, but to need 2 sets of driveshafts seems crazy. Has anyone else heard of this issue?

does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes o/s front wishbone with a bracket to attach rod for self leveling switch(zenon lights).plenty without the bracket at reasonable cost.Only managed to find genuine HONDA wishbone which has the bracket at a cost of £730.Alternatively is it possible to get old one re -bushed or perhaps improvise a bracket, though as i understand its not a good idea or legal to weld small bracket.Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

He said it has a gas leak and £75 to repair plus parts (if gasket needed). As the Honda Jazz Exec is 2018 he said poss Honda would underwrite the repair as not far out from guarantee. A/C is still working. Advice on what to do welcome. Wait for it to fail or get it done? Thanks.

Hi Alan I have always used Rock 5w 30w fully synthetic oil in my CRV as its recommended by Honda, If you are unsure as my Honda is a Petrol and I believe your CRV is a Diesel it might be worth giving the Main Honda Dealer a quick call and ask if there is a difference, I really don't know, sorry Alan.

Hello All, I have returned to the fold - after nearly 2.5 years of disappointing Volvo ownership (which - to be fair was bought as a stop-gap car after my previous CR-V was written off), I am now the proud and happy owner of a 2013 Diesel EX auto. It's early days but I am liking it very much so far. I need to get a tow bar and associated electrics fitted; my question is whether there is an advantage in going the 'dedicated/Honda' electrics or whether the Universal electrics will suffice. I'm trying to understand if there are any electronic towing assistance aids - the manual doesn't really give any indication about this at all. TIA …

Hi I have entered into a dispute with a windscreen fitting company after they have refitted the scuttle panel and rubber seals back around my windscreen and left gaps, it looks terrible and would mean water will be getting where its not supposed to! To help my case i could do with some pictures of what it should look like. So i need pictures at the bottom of the windscreen showing the rubber strip on the scuttle panel in contact with the glass and a picture of the rubber strip that runs at the top of the windscreen between the glass and the roof/pano glass. Any help you can offer would be much apreciated. Thanks
