Hi, I have just updated my free maps via the Garmin Express App as usual but upon completion I received notification of a brand new map and software update for a fee. Has anyone updated there 2016 CR-V with this successfully?? Do I bite the bullet and pay around £22 for a possible fail?? Anyone running the software successfully? thanks in advance

Hi All, Thanks for the forum add I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having with a 2015 C-RV. The car is a CRV SE Navi, 4WD, 1.6 diesel and hase covered 65k miles. My question is, having had the dpf light come on and the car go into limp mode, the car has been in the garage and the dpf cleaned and refitted and is now back to full working order, sadly on returning from the garage the engine light came on again and I headed back thinking it would be dpf related. Hi all, just went into my local dealer in Plymouth, my clock has gone weird, tried everything on YouTube, nothing works. So went to get them to do it, they gave up, said something wrong with my system. 3 hrs later, come home and find an article in the sun about all Honda owners having this trouble. First, why have they not notified dealers about this, second is there any clue as to fixing it.? Any suggestion's anyone?

I have spotify on my iphone and it works fine. in my car, after bluetooth recognizes my phone, I no longer hear music, not on my phone and not on my car audio. I think it has something to do with A2DP vs HFP. HELP!!!

Hello, I am new to these forums and looking for some help. My son's CRV has showing a dashboard warning light (not sure what). He had a small independent mechanic take a look and the feedback was The car has a fault with intake air temperature sensor requires modified sensor and a ecu software update, but it needs to go to a Honda garage I fear that a Honda garage will be an expensive bill for him (young family with three kids). Hi all, Just after a bit of advice, have the 2.2 diesel 58 plate. There is a leak on the power steering hose. Was told that the honda accord 2.2 pipe would fit.. it doesn't. (Tried this because the accord pipe was £20 compared to the crv pipe which is £96). The only difference was the thread was different and the male connector was wider. Anyone had the same problem and know a way to find a cheaper one? Every single scrappy I've contacted has sold out of them as soon as they get them in and talking mega bucks going to main dealer which we can't afford. MOT due soon and it will definitely fail on the amount its leaking. …

Hello All, I have returned to the fold - after nearly 2.5 years of disappointing Volvo ownership (which - to be fair was bought as a stop-gap car after my previous CR-V was written off), I am now the proud and happy owner of a 2013 Diesel EX auto. It's early days but I am liking it very much so far. I need to get a tow bar and associated electrics fitted; my question is whether there is an advantage in going the 'dedicated/Honda' electrics or whether the Universal electrics will suffice. I'm trying to understand if there are any electronic towing assistance aids - the manual doesn't really give any indication about this at all. TIA …

It has been parked in the garage for the last couple of years as my wife upgraded to a newer vehicle, and I've been keeping this one as a backup. Hi, Just acquired a 2018 CRV S variant with a NAV system. I know it's essentially the base model., but seems to be lacking in some basic features that I was expecting. I wonder if there is maybe something I am not doing right? hill-start assist - don't know if it's just not present or if it needs to be activated tailgate release botton on the keyfob doesn't seem to do anything I also notrice that the head-unit runs android but doesn't support car-play or android-auto. Hi I have hona crv 2018 1.6 160km diesel .I have problem with my fuel tank capacity. Basically in my manual fuel tank should have 58l. But when I refueling car from empty (low fuel light and computer shows 30 miles range) i can do 43- 45 liters maximum. I was refueling car 10 times so far and always is same. I can understand reserve tank need some fuel but 13-15 liters and 30 mies range is something wrong in my opinion. Please tell me how many liters you can put in your crv? Many thanks.

I've only owned the car for 7 months, it has a nearly full Honda service history. Hi All, I have a 2009 Honda CRV SE plus 2.2 diesel. This summer it went in to Honda to have a couple of valve seals replaced. Afterwards, there was a juddering under acceleration that got progressively worse in the higher gears between 1500 - 2200 rpm. It is more pronounced accelerating up hills or towing. There are no fault codes. Honda diagnosed a high pressure fuel pump issue. Another garage suggested the front drive shafts which I have had replaced and the rear diff fluid changed, which has made little difference. Fuel economy has improved but is still nowhere where it was and there is increased tyre wear on the front near-side tyre. Ano…

Hi All, Have just brought my first Honda CRV. Got the EX trim as recommended by a friend, and I’m glad I did. However, there’s a couple of issues I’d like some help with. Firstly, I know there’s a common issue with the diffs crystallising and fluid needing replacing, how often do you do this to avoid the problem? Also, the SatNav CD provided does not work (money was taken off for this) and it seems the SatNav CD will not eject from the slot.
