Abs light came on and another i light had a friend put his diagnostic on it came up with 54-1 Fail-Safe relay failure

Why has the reversing camera stopped working on my 2007 CRV Ex? The reversing lights work OK. The camera flashed & stopped working. I guess an electrical fault but any advice is appreciated.

Hi All, Thanks for the forum add I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having with a 2015 C-RV. The car is a CRV SE Navi, 4WD, 1.6 diesel and hase covered 65k miles. My question is, having had the dpf light come on and the car go into limp mode, the car has been in the garage and the dpf cleaned and refitted and is now back to full working order, sadly on returning from the garage the engine light came on again and I headed back thinking it would be dpf related. They come on when doing a bit of cornering and breaking. Only way yo clear is to turn ignition off and back on. Any suggestions?

Have just bought a 67 plate CRV SE + NAVI 1.5 EcoDream engine. System management light showed twice - issue with the engine. Appears there is known problem with this engine regenerating and/or fuel injection. Wish had looked online before ! Is this isolated or is this a common issue? No Honda fix it seems. Are people living with this or is there something that stops it ? Thank you .

Had a code come up saying open circuit on passenger side seatbelt buckle. Replaced the seatbelt buckle and the same code comes up even though I tried clearing the code. Anyone had this problem before and know what the problem is. Any help appreciated

I removed my subframes and stripped all control arms and suspension components to delaminate the rust , rub down to metal and paint with rustoleum. ,once cured bath these assemblies in light oil to penetrate all of inside sections... repair the areas that were starting to corrode on chassis from inside out. Like filler neck and surrounding chassis double skinned panels , behind rear arch front road spray trim where it holds debris and rots through to inner sills, and got in about really hard to access places with exhaust removed also... Removed rubber grommets to spray chain lube inside channels where accessible . no wash /wax or oil application can get near this detail…

Hi, I 'm trying to replace the AWD relay, as described in Honda service bulletin 15-012, but cannot see how to remove the left interior boot panel (see attached photo). It seems to be a single enormous piece of plastic, but apart from a single clip on the bottom edge I can't locate any other visible screws or clips. Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks.

Hi, We own a 2009 Honda Crv EX 2.2 diesel car for a year now. A couple of months back we've noticed the car battery went dead twice on us so we decided to invest in a new one. To our surprise 2 weeks later the new one went dead too! So we swapped the old battery (thankfully didn't get rid of it!) and charged up the new one (also double checking nothing had been left on inside the car). After 3 days when opening the car door, I strangely saw the sat Nav fascia was stuck half open (like it had a power surge) and low and behold, battery dead again. Hello, I don't know if anyone can help. We lost our main key fob this week. Our second key fob has never worked and Honda failed to take any responsibility. So we only have a key fob which works if you hold it over the stop/start button. It isn't the battery that is dead. This isn't the problem. Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this fob without costing the earth like at Honda? Many thanks, Thomas

Hi all, Just after a bit of advice, have the 2.2 diesel 58 plate. There is a leak on the power steering hose. Was told that the honda accord 2.2 pipe would fit.. it doesn't. (Tried this because the accord pipe was £20 compared to the crv pipe which is £96). The only difference was the thread was different and the male connector was wider. Anyone had the same problem and know a way to find a cheaper one? Every single scrappy I've contacted has sold out of them as soon as they get them in and talking mega bucks going to main dealer which we can't afford. I wondered if anyone has any advice about my problem. I have a 2011 CRV I dtec 2.2 diesel with 102000 on the clock. It had a full honda history up to 2 years ago but since then I have serviced the car myself using genuine Honda parts. The car wears the front tyres out in 10000 miles and also squeals badly when I go round a roundabout at any kind of speed. I am worried there maybe a differential problem front or rear. I wondered if the common rear differential issue would cause this?

my Honda CRV 2007 2.2 ictdi ex according to the manual is supposed to have a previous destination delete function, IE (Choose a destination to delete option) i cant for the life of me seem to locate it anywhere, anyone else come across this issue? any help welcome regards Baz

Hi I have hona crv 2018 1.6 160km diesel .I have problem with my fuel tank capacity. Basically in my manual fuel tank should have 58l. But when I refueling car from empty (low fuel light and computer shows 30 miles range) i can do 43- 45 liters maximum. I was refueling car 10 times so far and always is same. I can understand reserve tank need some fuel but 13-15 liters and 30 mies range is something wrong in my opinion. Please tell me how many liters you can put in your crv? Many thanks.

Hi All, I have a 2014 2.2 EX CRV bought it Jan 2019, warranty service was done back in Oct 2019, 39kish... 2020 nothing really happened, its been about 1.5years since the last service, thought I better service it and get the discs and pads done after the MOT (which was fine)! BUT, I can't find any info in the books about what service it is meant to be! I normally buy a service pack and give the car to my local garage who does my MOTs etc. Its a low miler, so after the 39K service back in Oct 19 (box 5, 60months service box). Hi, my Honda CRv has just come up with a parking sensor error on the dashboard. Looking online it could possibly be due to the bulb in the parking sensor switch, it shows if broken then creates this fault. I'm struggling to identify the part to replace it. Hi all, Ive got a 2012 CRV It’s not been driven for a few months and when I took it out today I noticed a thudding noise when pressing the brakes.
