CR-V 2011 to 2016

Evening all We all know these cars are incredibly reliable, but I suspect the weak link is the auto box. Anyone any idea as the the expected life expectancy, assuming scheduled fluid changes, no towing (not that I expect many people would try to tow anything given the limitations of the petrol/auto combination...) etc? Hi everyone We've just purchased a 2012 (facelifted) Honda CRV petrol auto with circa 100k miles on it, we love the car but trying to figure out if the below is normal with this model or there's something wrong. Still trying to narrow exact circumstances down but between 20 to 30mph, the car exhibits a small judder intermittently, almost like your driving on cats eyes. I own a 2016 CR-V 2.4L Earthdreams engine with 18,500 miles purchased used in June 2024. On X-mas eve I drove to parents house and parked in the garage. Next morning there was a gas smell in garage and checked dipstick. The oil reeked of gasoline. Also opened the oil cap and it too reeked of gasoline. Had both my parents to smell and they both confirmed gasoline smelling oil. Even smelled inside house to make sure it was not just coming from outside of vehicle. Under 4,000 miles since last FULL SYNTHETIC oil change. No leaks on floor. Took it to the dealership and they looked at me like I was crazy. Hi folks. I drive motorway miles everyday, Edinburgh to Glasgow. I have eco on all the time and drive at 60 miles an hour. I have a 64 plate 2ltr automatic petrol. This guzzles fuel like it's going out of fashion. Is there anything that can help with consumption.

Advice or wiring diagram for 2015 CRV no side lights (small lights) fed by fuse 34 Can anyone help with a wiring diagram please I'm getting no voltage to my sidelights, i've continuity checked and voltage checked all the fuses i can find even the ones hidden under glove box. I can see the light selector stem is switching 12v to fuse 34 when sidelights are selected but would like to know what happens from there to the actual bulbs (all in tact) Thanks in advance Ade(UK)

Evening; my radio is playing up. Can only play a CD, volume works, on/off switch works, nothing else does. Seering wheel controls are OK so I can select a radio station. Haven't changed battery, or anything like that. Any ideas?

Hello. I hope you good folks can help. I've had the Auto stop start and airbag warning lights pop up on my dash whilst driving. I have checked fuses and plugs under the seats and all look sound. Had the battery tested and replaced and just had the codes scanned. This came up with U0151 - no communication with SRS module. With further investigation the tech thinks the SRS module has stopped working. I'm no stranger to a set of tools and I'm going to replace the module myself. Does anyone know where the module is located?

Installing an Android Auto radio to replace OEM Stock radio and use the large screen of the aftermarket android auto system with the rear / backup cam system. Was hoping someone would have the pin outs/ wire diagram of the i-Mid so I can tap into the cam video feed.

Mt 2015 Honda CRV engine management light came on after a short period of having the PGM-F1 warning. when reading the error code it says: P2199 - Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1/2 Correlation. i have changed the MAF sensor but still get the same error. That said, when the engine is warm/hot and I clear the error code the engine check light stays off until the engine cools again. What could be the problem?

HFT rings for incoming calls but I cannot answer. Caller gets message 'Called number not available'. I deleted the iPhone from the HFT and reconnected - still the same problem. Any ideas please?

Hi i have a 2014 crv that I’m having problems with, about 8 weeks ago I was driving down the moter way, lost power and my filter light and engine management light came on, took it to the Honda garage they replaced the filters and sent me on my way, never even made it home before my engine management light was on again, back into the garage the following day. Hi looking for help I own a 2015 1.6 idtec CRV end of last year it lost power on the motorway badly but we managed to crawl off and call the AA. Recovery man scanned car and only code was MAF signal high at this point he recommended egr check and didn't trust code to be accurate but I changed MAF anyway Cox genuine part but still faulting and if fault happened again I'd strip it down to check egr valve. Hi all, I've been looking for a nice CR-V for a while and at last one has turned up, but something I'm struggling to get in my head is a few apparently (to me) odd points, firstly there's a gap of about 2cm between the dashboard and the A pillar see pic no1, secondly the center dash clock looks like it's got screen burn, and finally the gear lever surround appears to have degraded at it's base, the car is a 2013 with only 48,000 miles, price wise it's £10,995 somehow I had higher expectations, any help appreciated, oh a HPI check comes back clear. Just bought a new to me Honda CRV 2014 2.2 diesel. There’s a weird clicking noise coming from behind the glovebox when I turn on the ignition. I’m presuming it’s the heating flap actuator. Anyone have a guide to how to remove this at all? Thanks

Hello Everybody, Please forgive if this has been discussed before as did a quick search but couldnt find anything I have a 2014 2.2 Diesel manual CR-V and when setting of in first the clutch pedal sticks to the floor and the car then wants to go forwards on its own, the gear is also locked in place and have pull over using brakes to turn car off and then try pop the pedal back up, also does this in reverse but seems not to in 2nd or 3rd (not gone above 3rd as its pretty much undiveable now so didnt go far or fast. the car did this a couple of times in the middle of summer and a garage i took it to for a quick look had no idea, it then did…

Hi All, New to the Forum & hoping you good people on here can solve my issue. I purchased a 2015 Crv 1.6 I dtec AWD just over 2 years ago. It hasn't covered many miles in that time so I thought it would be a good idea to give it a service. Have completed the service I then tried to access the system to update the service maintenance. I have seen a few methods of accessing the maintenance info on YouTube & the like.
