Hi all, I have been a massive Honda fan for a long time and I am in the market to buy an Integra Type R DC5. I have found one for sale through a family friend of mine and it has the following specs. I have been to see it and It's a 2006 imported DC5 with the Comfort pack, completely immaculate in championship white. with a flawless interior, full undersealed with painted underbody has had almost all parts replaced under car, bushings bars etc including a recent gearbox rebuild., original K20 engine the JDM version that makes around 220bhp with only 87k miles on it. Full service history too. I decided to look around online and cant seem to find anything close to the level of quality of this DC5 or any 2006 models anywhere. He is asking £27,999. Can you guys please let me know if this price is reasonable or a bargain or too expensive as I don't know ? I want this so badly and am willing to pay but want expert opinions on prices. Thanks b4u2,I took your advise and contacted my vertu dealer, they contacted honda and were very embarised that honda wanted £90.00 for a hand book.I think honda are taking you no what. I think this will go virally the Internet.

Sorry, Trevor, I've only just seen your second reply re the chime scenario. Handbook uninformative in this connection. On Wednesday it's got to go in for the dealer to hopefully eradicate a slight but annoying creak in the rear n/s of the cabin so I'll ask them about the chime at the same time. Reiterated thanks.

good morning b4u2, sorry for a late response. Yes i had it fixed, at the price stated, so nice and cold now, not that i need cold air blowing through at the moment when the temp outside is cold, but it certainly helps and preventing demisting the windows , so thumbs up, also at the Honda garage (Rowes Honda Hayle) they did a full health check of the car and flag up a couple of issues, not serious, and no pressure to get it fixed by them, Handy i managed to fix it myself, it was the drop links on the front which was getting a bit worn.

There is a software uptade, released by Honda one week ago , to solve this problem of the BCU (body control unit). It seems that the BCU in some situations does not entered into the standby mode when that car is parked. This was the origin of these problesms of battery drain. The Honda official service has applied this update in the 1st year maintenance of my eHEV HRV

try the height sensor on the back axle if its broken it wont level and lights will be at their bottom

Hi, I had similar problem just the one time, it took ages to "pick up signal" all I can say is be patient - try driving around away from a built up area, at least you got this far and it is recognising the disc - so looking promising ! If it repeatedly shows the same screen - try disconnecting the battery for an hour or so, maybe overnight, pain in the bum I know but sometimes it pays to persevere. After that I don`t know to be honest. Good luck

Has anyone fitted after market (rubber) car mats in the Hybrid powered (2022) Civic please? If so, was it necessary to buy a set of clips & cut into the existing carpet as appears to be the case with earlier models. I ask because there look like (perhaps spring loaded) fittings but, if that is what they are, I've not been able to access/release them. Brian Broughton

Thanks for that, It corrected itself, but had the same problem going from BST to GMT in Oct 2022. After a while it went 2 hours fast, I was able this time to adjust the clock back two hours in the sat nav screen.

Hi I have an issue with my heater on my 2007 Honda Accord 2.2 icdti, It blows cold air and hot air for a short while and then goes back to blowing cold air. Any ideas or suggestions on what to do.
