Many thanks ec5780 so my car is no longer a "factory cat" virgin! Yes it was a pattern version but the garage still charged what I thought was a bit excessive. Got no claims protection and its money that can be replaced eventually. Car was off the road for only a week, didn't bother with courtesy hire car and now hoping insurers will pay up soon. Happy motoring days are here again!1 point
