  1. Maybe the fault code is still logged and needs erasing. I would drop it back to the garage that fitted it clear the code
  2. I would be tempted to fit a secondhand lock and key but will require two keys to be used for the vehicle Otherwise would be a shame to get shot of it for a simple (and low cost) repair
  3. I would go on the assumption that it has two but in 2001 I suspect it may only be one fitted
  4. Hi Matt.....welcome to the Club What a superb motor and don't see many of them on the roads nowadays Great to have you onboard!
  5. SatNav disc stores on the internet, plenty of them and cheap But still quite old maps but probably newer than you have already
  6. Did you buy it from a Honda dealer? Would recommend taking to the Honda dealer for these functions to be activated with their diagnostic platform.
  7. There are plenty of SatNav disc stores on the net and most offer replacement discs (albeit a little bit out of date but certainly newer than you have)
  8. Hi BryanH ....and welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard !
  9. Hi Zain ... welcome to the Club I had this issue on my 2007 CR-V and it was the rear suspension that needed adjustment to rectify the pulling. The natural camber of the road is that it pulls to the left and got annoying to have to hold the wheel with my thumb constantly resting on the steering wheel. With some adjustments to the rear Toe, the issue was sorted. The rear suspension arms have some adjustment bolts (from memory you loosen the outer nut and adjust the inner bolt to alter the Toe The trick is to adjust the rear suspension before the front, most garages just make adjustments from the front and this accentuates the pulling even more so. Do you have any printouts from the previous alignments which you can post up so I can look at the figures?
  10. Oh crikey what a nightmare! Hopefully it is just a glitch and normal service resumes once they find what the issue is
  11. Has anything been done on the car recently? I put in a search on the internet and it comes up with a few possibilities for you to work through Seach term: honda errors HFT NG GA-NET NG
  12. I had to refer the drivers handbook for my CR-V as I had no idea and it actually turned out to be easy once you got through all the various steps. If it has voice control then it was something like "stored phones/devices" and then following prompts (sorry memory is a bit foggy nowadays)
  13. That's a difficult one (but not impossible I'm sure) as it is a Japanese import and they were not designed to run anything other than domestic market language software. An aftermarket audio system (double DIN if it fits) would be the best way forward as you can use Apps for SatNav and lots of other features the original unit would not have installed.
  14. Glad it was a simple fix and now secured Goodness knows how the tester would get on with an early Land Rover seats πŸ™‚
  15. A search in google may come up with some solutions for finding a code that will work Otherwise the card in the handbook (if there) should give the code
  16. Thanks for the excellent feedback BAZZER RN 1 its always nice to know about a brand that I am unfamiliar with. I too especially hate the noise from the silicon blades that are fitted to my current car and want to swap them out as soon as possible, even though they do work effectively. Will give them a try in the next few weeks although it probably won't rain now until September πŸ™‚
  17. Thanks for the photo I do wonder if there is any water ingress into the fusebox as it is in the scuttle area where the water could enter into the fusebox and contaminate the relays. I would remove the relays one by one and examine them for any corrosion of possible contamination from water ingress. Also check the terminals in the fusebox as well and maybe if there is some contamination then apply silicon to the fusebox cover before refitting
  18. Thanks for letting us know the outcome, fingers crossed it will be okay for some time now
  19. The code translates as a faulty Evaporative Emission System Shutoff Valve 2 or the wiring associated with it Would check the wiring first as may have been inadvertently disconnected while changing the fuel filter possibly?
  20. You can try this one? Sometimes the system doesn't like non genuine discs but worth a try at that cost https://www.satnavishop.co.uk/honda-v3c0-navigation--map-dvd-sat-nav-update-disc-2018-181-p.asp
  21. The seat shouldn't be an issue unless it is vastly different to the seat the other side. The seatbelt is secured to the floor and that is what is retaining the passenger but the seat back should also be secure so maybe not latched in properly?
  22. Could you upload a photo of the fusebox cover so we can see the relay locations
  23. Lower Valance is what i would call it Look on eBay for some screws that look similar always loads of fasteners on there
  24. It sounds like the clutch driven plate and the friction lining they use is making the noise Sometimes it can occur when the clutch is slipped and the material is dragged across the pressure plate and causes this noise. It should be okay for normal use for some time but avoid slipping the clutch if you can
