  3. Hi Alex....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard
  4. Hi....welcome to the Club I would definitely replace the fuel filter as experienced this myself and this cured it How's life in France? Much happening with Covid there?
  5. Hi Alex....welcome to the Club My absolute first thoughts are battery supply and earth returns. If you are experiencing issue with immobiliser and also ABS then I think I would trace through from the battery (both sides) and work through the fuseboxes and other current supply routes to see if there is any corrosion or breaks in wires, etc. I know its like teaching you to suck eggs but I have fallen foul of some of the simplest faults which I failed to initially check
  6. Hi Little G .....welcome to the Club
  7. Hi.....welcome to the Club I had a similar issue on a Mitsubishi L200 and took the front cover off the wiper motor to find there was an excess of grease on the contacts which could no longer pick up a current at certain points in the wipe sweep. Cleaned off the excess grease and it worked absolutely fine. Not sure if the motor is easily accessible on the CR-V like it was on the L200 and also if there is an easily removable front cover but certainly worth a look Let us know how you get on with it

  10. You are welcome to place an advert in the For Sale section of this forum https://uk.hondaownersclub.com/forums/forum/58-hondas-for-sale/
  11. Sorry not sure I've ever seen a s colour code for wheels but I'll bet Honda sell a touch up kit for the alloys There are settings in the front end of the unit to brighten the screen....done it before myself but couldn't tell you exactly where (seem to remember it is quarter moon / full moon type logo if that helps)
  12. I would pull some fuses to see which one stops the current drain....eliminates the circuits that are functioning without issue
  13. There seems to be some info on these codes and faults with this transmission on a Google search and used in Toyota as well as other Japanese brands
  14. I think Halfords sell a range of bike carriers that would sit on the tailgate but not sure about the weight on there though
  15. Is it just the one wheel or both that aren't applying the handbrake? If you jack one side up at a time and try to turn the wheel to see which one (or both) aren't holding. Seems like it could need adjustment on the cable but worth pumping the footbrake at the same time as pulling up the handbrake on and off to see if the caliper winds in onto a closer tolerance
  16. Hi ...... welcome to the Club Not too many Insight owners coming through the club so good to have you onboard
  17. Did you ever find the port?
  18. Had a similar issue with my 2008 CR-V and i changed the fuel filter which solved the issue. They are rarely changed because they are notoriously hard to get to replace
  19. Waxoyl is the best product for preserving metalwork on any vehicle
  20. You should replace it before it starts to knock when turning in on a tight turn (such as pulling onto a driveway or threepoint turn) The oil can be purchased from eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-HONDA-CRV-DPS-FLUID-DIFF-OIL-1-LITRE/392495346713?epid=1415923714&hash=item5b628bb419:g:t-sAAOSwSONcM4GV
  21. Did a hard-wire on my CR-V a while ago but cannot remember which feed it was from (possibly interior lights?). Used a multi-meter to find a permanent 12 volt feed
  22. Hi....welcome to the Forum The 12volt system is designed to avoid battery drainage and therefore there aren't many points within the vehicle where you can grab 12volts with the ignition off. However, I hard-wired a dashcam in my CR-V a little while ago and it took ages to find a 12volts permanent feed but eventually got one using a multimeter....sorry can't remember which circuit it was though....may have been interior lights. They are there in the fusebox but will require a multimeter to find it
  23. Wow! that's going to be hard to source. Alternatively, if you could get a sleeve to go on the shaft as the shaft may have wear in a specific spot and the seal cannot work effectively. Even with a new seal you may need to sleeve the shaft
  24. Couple of useful articles (although non-UK sourced) https://www.torquenews.com/1084/honda-civic-cr-v-oil-dilution-problem-what-you-should-do-now http://www.hondaproblems.com/oil-dilution/ Although it may not be prevalent in the UK it is still worth checking oil level and quality more frequently to ensure no washdown is occurring
