  2. Hi...welcome to the forum How are you getting on with the CR-V? Sorry for the late reply but here it is: No issues to be aware of as long as the car has been treated well and maintained as it should be. It has a timing chain and doesn't suffer from any issues. Generally the CR-V is a superb car and mine has never let me down
  3. Hi.....welcome to the Forum Not sure if you have resolved this issue yet? Sounds like the clutch release bearing running against the clutch cover. In the worse case scenario the bearing can drill through the clutch cover. You must ensure that you are not resting your foot on the clutch pedal when driving as the working clearance is taken up and the release bearing is then running at engine speed constantly which it is not designed to do. Usually the noise disappears when you depress the clutch pedal and this is then usually a sign that the release bearing is worn.
  4. Hi....welcome to the Forum Not sure if you have resolved the issue yet? It sounds more likely the vehicle battery at fault as this can cause issues with the locking and immobiliser. If the battery fails a deep discharge test and also bear in mind the cold weather will definitely affect battery performance then I would replace it with a quality item. Halfords can test and replace your battery at a reasonable cost
  5. can you estimate approximate road speed when it occurs?
  6. Hi Kathleen Most window tint film nowadays as long as it is applied correctly

  9. Hi.....welcome to the Forum Is it vehicle speed related rather than gears and revs? e.g. is it at 60mph and then disappears as you get to about 70mph If so, then it is a static wheel imbalance and need to balance the front wheels
  10. Hi....welcome to the forum Feel free to post up some photos of the Pilot
  11. Have you checked the alternator output because if it is charging excessively high rate then this could blow the fuse with a surge of current. Should be putting out around 14.5 volts
  12. Thanks for the heads up...hopefully this defect will be addressed by the manufacture soon enough
  13. The old Accord was a very reliable car but is now getting harder to obtain parts for (new and used). From memory, there wasn't much mechanically that went wrong
  14. Hi......welcome to the forum Thats a shame that they couldn't repair it properly but then I suppose the price would have been a lot higher? Ask away and hopefully someone should be able to help you with your questions
  15. Hi....welcome to the forum Mostly the problem stems from the connection(s) under the seat to the pre-tensioner seatbelt stalk. Unplug (with the ignition off for 30 minutes at least) and plug back in after twisting the wire a complete turn to load the connection and make better contact....this usually works
  16. Hi.....welcome to the Forum I thought the Takata airbag recall was worldwide as the imminent failure and resulting injuries are the same no matter which country you are in and should apply to the Philippines aswell. I would definitely be hassling Honda to deal with it
  17. Very nice motors just sitting around ..... wished i could scoop them all up 🙂
  18. I still maintain it will be something like a wheel sensor that is faulty and this is very easy to test for resistance with a multimeter....any reputable independent garage should be able to resolve this issue.

  24. UK line-up is now petrol, hybrid and pure-electric only but plans have also been brought forward to phase out petrol Diesel-fuelled Hondas have been withdrawn from UK sale with the last vehicles expected to be out of dealerships within a few weeks. The Japanese carmaker is the biggest VM yet to axe diesel power in Britain. It will also bring forward plans to phase out pure petrol cars by the end of 2022, rather than 2025 as previously suggested. A Honda spokesman: “Honda has accelerated its plans for all its European mainstream car models to be electrified from 2025 to 2022 and our motor petrol hybrid technology will play a key role in achieving this goal. “As such, we plan for European production of diesel powertrains to cease by the end of 2022. “However, on a local level in the UK, we have now stopped selling diesel cars.”
