A little Tip for dried out rubber gromets or window seals, a good size can of Halfords Silicone Spray for £ 4.99 does the trick and worth giving rubber seals a good spray in this hot weather when the rubber does tend to dry out and could deteriorate more quickly and also a good lubricant for other car parts except of course Brake parts or Steering assembly which should be common sense not to use any lubricant on. other than that, follow the instructions on the can and get rid of those nasty squeaks as well on the car. Hi All I have noticed lately that my Crv has developed a squeal when depressing the Clutch Pedal, Had a good look through other Honda Owners comments on this and apparently it can be a problem on some Hondas, The clutch is operating fine, so located the Clutch Slave Cylinder and gave it good dose of WD40 and some 3 in 1 around the rubber seals and the slave cylinder piston, okay its not the same as removing the piston and doing a proper job, but the squealing noise has stopped , and a relief not to get this noise every time, I will let others know the outcome. Have a good weekend Guys & Gals BAZZER RN 1

Hi Adam Agree with the comment by Kenny , look to see if you have a white mixture in the oil filler cap if so its a Head Gasket gone, if this is the case get it seen to straight away before more serious damage is done. Good Luck Mate BAZZER RN 1

Hi Mark, in my opinion 38 psi does sound high, but to be completely sure I would give the Honda Main Dealer Service Manager a call they should be able to tell you the correct pressure straight away. they are usually very helpful whenever I have cause to contact them. Steve the Service Manager at Honda Horizon Poole Dorset is very good. Best Wishes BAZZER RN 1

It might possibly be one of the Battery Cells is defective, I had this problem on my previous Car and bought a new battery , problem solved, it might just be that, GSF had a discount sale on Car Batteries a short while ago , might be worth a go. Best Wishes BAZZER RN 1

Hi John Welcome to the Honda Club. As the others have suggested there are several options to get the parts you need and if can add, go on to Google Website put in your query and I am pretty sure it will come up with something and then its a matter of finding a company which can supply the parts you need. its not too difficult to use Google for this John so best of luck and hope you find the parts you require. Hi Jamie Quite possibly the Filter but as suggested its wise to have a Diagnostic check to find the cause , last thing you need is for the engine to cut out on any journey especially one of these smart motorways, a Diagnostic check should be able to pin point the problem Hope all goes well for you BAZZER RN 1

Hi Eddie, Welcome to the Honda Club, It might be that the only place to get the Drive Shafts is from Main Dealer as its a specialised fitment part, I will have a look around and see if any other Suppliers might be able to help and come back to you if I find out something to help. BAZZER RN 1

Give it a go ,you can get it on Amazon or ebay ,its easy to apply , make sure the car paintwork is washed clean ,it comes in a spray bottle and you dont need a lot. I think one bottle does my CRV about three times, You will be suprised at the shine afterwards and protection it gives. Hope this helps BAZZER RN 1

Hi , I thought I would share this tip with you, I have been using DiamondBrite Ceramic Glaze for a while after washing my CRV and the results are fantastic, It comes in a Spray Bottle and its easy to use, it puts a ceramic glaze protective coating on the paintwork and provides excellent beading when it rains. its not that expensive and gives a mirror like finish after use, My car is Night Hawk Black so not easy to keep clean but this certainly helps.Give it a try and let other Members know if your as pleased as I am with the result Just a Tip Guys BAZZER RN 1

Hi Trevor and all Members I have just seen an email from GSF today that the 65% off Sale is back on so might be a good time to see if you need to replace anything and save a few quid or two. I dont have any connection with GSF just hoping that Members might take advantage of this offer as I did and saved money with a set of Drivetec Windscreen Wipers. BAZZER RN 1
