  1. I have just fitted a new Bosch Air Filter to my 2008 Mk3 CRV , it sounds simple enough but checking all the info on google ,my handbook and you tube it didnt show me where the Air Filter Housing was for my CRV, So a quick call to Honda and solved the problem on my CRV mine does not have an oblong housing on top of the engine as shown on you tube but is in the engine compartment r/h side with three retaining to unclip and there was the Air Filter , simple change and alls well . but took me a while to find it. Hope this helps other Members BAZZER RN 1

  5. All wiper washer nozzles are basically the same, you were correct in putting put a piece of wire or a paper clip into the metal nozzle in the housing and have someone operate the washer stem in the car and adjust the metal tube in the washer until you get the correct line of washer liquid on to the center of your windscreen, nothing more annoying than having the car in front spraying his washer fluid over the roof of his car and on to your car especially on a sunny day when you have you car window open and get a face full of washer fluid.😒 BAZZER RN 1
  6. I bought the Drivetec Wipers from GSF and they seem to do the job and at 65% discount cant go wrong I have no connection with GSF but thought other Members might like to take advantage of this offer from GSF to save money. Just a thought ! If Members do know or hear of good Discounts from Suppliers, it might benefit others if you put it on the Forum. Best Regards BAZZER RN 1

  9. Hi Guys, If you have an Idling problem I have found a simple remedy which worked for me without having to use any tools 1. Make sure all car electrics are off 2. Turn the Ignition on and wait for 2 seconds 3. Turn Engine on and keep the RPM Revs at 3000 until the temperature reaches Max & the Cooling Fans come on 4. Once the Cooling Fans come on, lift off the accelerator pedal completely 5. Wait 5 Mins This should fix the fluctuation and Idling Problem, The engine needs to be turned on & off a few times for the Computer to finish learning. If the Idling is still too high turn the engine on & off a few times and wait a couple of minutes in between. This method worked for my CRV and you should have a smooth Idle Speed of about 600-700 RPM. Hope it works for you as it did for me BAZZER RN 1

  20. Wise Comments my Friend it is still a bit notchy but as other 4 x 4 Drivers have told me ,this might be the cause of it and having looked on several websites with Honda Drivers having the same problem it might be the case, so we will have to see or look further into this. Thank you for you reply Best wishes Bazzer RN 1

Hi Guys Update on the notchy gear change, after having the Gear Box Changed and adding the Molyslip as recommended, it does seem to have made some difference, not a silky smooth change but a definite improvement I think, so will see how it goes and let you Guys know more late on when it has all settled in. Cheers BAZZER RN 1
