Also check on You Tube put in Honda crv 2002-2006 air con not working, very useful info and easy to understand Hope it goes okay
-
It also may be the Slave cylinder causing this problem, a lot of reports on this don't know why Honda have not got this annoying problem sorted on a recall, it must be far easier for a Honda Mechanic to sort out than leave it to the Customer to resolve the problem

On my 2008 Mk3 CRV the air con relay is in the fuse box at the rear of Engine compartment, triangle shaped box near to the Battery on the Passenger Side , when you remove the fuse box cover look at the instruction for the number of the a.c. relay , mine is R6 in the box, If in doubt check the owners Manual or if you don't have one , go on Google and look for Fuse Check.com put in your vehicle details and you can get all info on all the Fuses and Relays for your Car, print this off for future reference Hope this helps Alan

Hi again Simon, give the Guys at Satnavishop a call check out their phone number and details on Google, they are helpful Guys, this is where I bought my update Sat Nav Thanks to the info from Trevor

I'm too young to remember all this 😇 I only wish 😞

Hi Alan ,Didn't have to get the A/C Relay checked I could see by the relay casing that it was faulty, but in any case I believe from memory that a replacement A/C relay for my CRV Mk3 on Ebay was only about £ 15.00 so I would have bought one anyway to use as a spare. its worth a punt Alan at that price, make sure you enter the exact details of the existing Relay when you buy a new one, and its just a matter of unplugging the Old and plugging in the New. I haven't had the time to get the Royal Black Tyres fitted yet, I've been very busy with installs in Care Homes and Schools

Alan have you checked the Air Con Relay , Just a thought, I had the same problem and it did turn out to be the Relay which was faulty. got one off of EBAY and all good to go now, a lot less expensive than a new compressor.

Hi Simon Has your Sat Nav got a CD Disc if so you can buy an updated version and this will automatically update the system when you load the CD. Look at the Section from Trevor and Myself for the address of the company who supply the CDs, The are not expensive around £ 29.99 for an updated Disc ,I bought one for my 2008 CRV mK 3 a while ago, loaded it in the Sat Nav and Bingo it is now updated.Hope this helps

Hi , I always use Esso Diesel in my Merc E320 CDI , Does not seem to like Supermarket Fuel , I dont why but it goes much better and feels much better using Esso and that goes for the unleaded petrol in the CRV as well . Used some Tesco once and it spluttered and coughed until I refilled with Esso .

Excellent Alan, glad you got it sorted

It should have been a good journey to Southampton on Friday but unfortunately due a very serious accident on the M27 Motorway where where a male Driver of a BMW Died and a Family of the other car a Ford Fiesta were seriously injured including a 19 month old Baby the Police closed the M27 Motorway for further investigation and it remained closed for 10 hours, very sad when this happens and so very sorry for the Family of the 35 year old Male Driver who sadly died in this accident on Friday. which had just happened when we got to the scene of the crash. The local Southampton Echo has a report of the incident

I think Trevor is correct Alan, I had a couple missing and went to my local MotoBitz shop and they helped me although I cant remember the size, but much less expensive than Honda Main Dealer
-
I will post a review after I have have had them fitted and given them a fair wear regarding the Handling, Comfort, Noise Levels and economy
-
I think I may bite the Bullet and get some Royal Black Sports fitted in a couple of weeks and give them a go.

I believe finding a live fuse can be a bit tricky, but there is plenty of info on our old friend Google , so will have a look at it possibly this weekend

Today I'm giving a Friend a lift to Southampton Docks as She is off on a 14 day Cruise to New York on the QE2 , I have never been on board the Ship but to all accounts it's like a floating Luxury Hotel . My time at Sea was spent in the Royal Navy as a Diver with small Ships and a couple of Submarines not as Luxurious as this . but with good Friends and saw the World. BAZZER RN 1
