pete trimble Posted August 23, 2021 Share Posted August 23, 2021 bought the 2017 hr-v , and pleased with my purchase , my wife though misses the extra oomph that the turbo gave on the previous car. We do not like much the hrv sport , and as a long shot what would the fitting of a turbo to our car cost, and is it a viable proposition. Anybody got an opinion on this>?. Trevor Posted August 27, 2021 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Hi Pete.....welcome to the Club It would not be a viable option unfortunately as would be cost prohibitive and also a lot of bespoke work to adapt the engine to run with a turbo. A better option would be to have a 'remap' which works with the Engine control unit to release more power.
