henena
Hi. I'll try to keep it brief. I have a 2012 honda civic cdti 2.2. Body not great. Dent in bumper and flaking paint. Large scratch on rear panel. No MOT but still runs great. 130000 miles. Spent £400 getting new pads and calipers recently. Several warning lights on the dashboard. I've been advised by my mechanic that 3 sensors need replacing and the lights should go. The problem is that they have quoted at least £500 to replace them. I've been offered £650 for the car as it is. Do I take that or try to get it through an MOT? baring in mind I'll have forked out about a grand to sort it and the bodywork isn't great. Any ideas roughly how much I could expect for it if it did have its MOT? Thanks in advance!
Trevor
I would be tempted to part with it and cut your losses Let someone else go through the expense and time of doing it up and start afresh
