Hi all, I thought I would kick-start this Forum into life again...hence the reason for this post. Who's out there? Where you from? What model Honda do you drive? Would be great to hear back from anyone who would like to chat 'Honda' Cheers, Trevor - Admin (2007 CR-V 2.2 cdti)

Hi I am a new member and have recently bought a nearly new (ex demo) Jazz Hybid. So far I am very pleased and impressed with it. I am getting up to 70 mph locally, and am also pleased with the performance and equipment level. As an ex demo it is the top of the range SE with all the 'whistles and bells'. I look forward to sharing others opinions of this model. Neil

Hello all!.Just signed up here. I may not be a typical member...🙃 OK. I'm 72 and got my Honda in 2012 from my brother, who is younger than me. Most people are... He had it from new in 2004. It's a 5 door 2.0L Type S..which I believe is a fairly uncommon beast. Still only on 72000 miles after 17 years. All original and I have no interest in modifying or customising it. Just hoping it lasts well enough to save me buying another car before I start dribbling or forget my name etc. 🤣. I'm long past the days of changing engines on the drive in midwinter etc, so I leave most work to younger fitter chaps these days, but I do change the oil and filter reg…

One morning last week I started car set controls to de-mist but fan did not come on. tried various settings, but still no blow. drove off still altering settings and blower did come on and worked fine till I got to my destination. Following morning fan came on, worked fine for 5 mins then went off and has not worked since. checked fuses and they are fine. Wondering if you folks have any experience of this and a resolve ? Hi all, just joined up in the hope of learning a bit more about my Honda jazz 2016 ex I am a 50s and consider myself a competent diy mechanic but I have been sorely tested of late….. my beloved grey jazz threw a paddy on a busy A road and hot engine light came on lost a greater part of coolant through radiator boiling, anyway net result it got recovered on back of aa truck to my home in the dark. next day noticed a small hose had leaked most of coolant from pipe below throttle body, replaced it, filled and burped but thought I had air bubbles but I now believe head gasket gone as pressurises pipes bubbles in rad tank and expands coolant at rate of …

Hi I am in a small village on the outskirts of Swansea I have a 55 reg Accord with 98,000 plus on the clock but still running as sweet as a nut. It was recalled a couple of years ago because of a possible paassenger air bag deployment which would fill the passengers face with shards of plastic. Last year the air bag light came on and my very good and trusted garage sorted it for me. The air bag squib wass £690 and I got the conputer, which could not be reset, vrom Lithuania (identical number). Have any othger members had the same problem. Do any of the members know of a reliable Honda specialst garage in the Swansea area, please? All the bes…

Good afternoon everyone, Been meaning to get on here to talk all things Integra, but never got round to it. However, now retired so hoping to get involved in interesting conversations on motors. Also which has again spurred me on is that I could do with tracking down a brake sensor for my rear offside on the DC2. Anyone know any where that might sell me one please? Other than the sensor, the car is in excellent condition with only 63k on the clock and will go forever. I just want to be reassured that keeping it does not result in having problems with parts. Had to track down a re-conditioned brake caliper last year. Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated, otherwise …

hi, I've just bought a 2001 Civic 1.6i VVT auto Executive, 70K 1 owner with history. this is my second Honda, I had a Z600 in the 1970's which was an absolute hoot to drive, crash gearbox/double declutching and all. The Civic is very civilised. I've had various other Japanese cars including a couple of JDM Estimas, and a few Suzukis. Apatr from a couple of supermarket bumps this Civic is immaculate, I'll sort the minor scrapes in the next couple of weekends.

Hello there, just collected my first Honda. Gone electric with the E:Ny1. (Catchy Name?) Very happy so far, range not perfect but ok for our current needs. Moved from Lexus, in part a little upset with their approach to the canbus thefts making their cars the most stolen in the UK by volume sold. Still a fan of Lexus quality and service, had LS400, LS430, GS300, IS200, IS300 and NX300 over many years so hoping Honda can delight me. Last three cars have been NX, Westfield and Corvette C6 so bit of a mixed bag.

I've just joined and wanted to say hello. I own a 2004 Accord saloon 2.4 Executive Auto with 85k miles which I bought as a Honda Approved Used Car in 2008. The car is now a second vehicle (since 2016) but is still much loved and in great condition. In my entire period of ownership it has needed nothing other than routine servicing, tyres and brake pads. The car is now stored in a garage at a second home on a trickle charger for much of the year and when the rear brake pads were replaced last summer, one had seized in caliper so that had to be replaced too. But that's the only niggle in 12 years of happy ownership! I continue to use Honda main dealers for all work an…

Hi, Just purchased a Honda CR-V 2008 ES. I noticed on the test drive that the steering felt a little heavy and whilst not wandering off a straight line it seemed to want to wander slightly. I mentioned this to the seller and I suggested the tyres could be the wrong pressure. This was checked and there was one rear tyre that had been over=inflated. I also suggested it could need the tracking adjusted but the seller didn't have the alignment kit in his garage. The tyres have good tread and are 17 inch. I guess it could also be the state of the roads too and the fact that this is my first Honda CR-V and I'm not used to the tyres which seem big to me. The lo…

Hi folks, just recently got my first Honda car, a nice red 2016 Civic Tourer with only 9000 miles. They caught my eye when thye first came out, but have now come into my price range. Mine's a red 1800 petrol SE Plus with sat nav, and is like new. One thing that is really causing a problem though is internal reflections on the inside of the windscreen. In the countryside, in the dark, no problem, but as soon as it's under streetlights, I get waves of reflections as I drive from the furthest part of the dash top - i.e. it's the ridge over the speedo that forms a curved line right across the screen, It's really affecting me, and I wonder if anyone else has encountered t…
