Can anyone tell me please how easy is it to change a cabin a/c pollen filter in my right hand drive Honda Accord 2.4 saloon ADAS behind my glove box? .....and has anybody heard of the NEW filter and what do they think of it? Hello, newbie here so apologies if its been asked before. I have a 2009 model Honda Accord, and have owned it for the last 9 years. Its an absolute beast, never let me down. It would seem now though, with nearly 210k on the clock, that the air con pump has failed. My question is, does anyone here know if a pump off the earlier Accord model will fit, or would one off a Civic or CR-V? I'm really struggling to get one off the model I have, hence the question. There's loads of CR-V and Civics about in the scrapyard but no Accords. Looked at a few pictures online of different pumps from varying models and can't seem to see much difference. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi, I've just bought my first Honda. Its a 2009 accord EX diesel auto tourer and I was really impressed with it on the test drive. Unfortunately it only has one key which is looking rather worn. For peace of mind I want a new spare key. It is the 3 button key with tailgate open / close, and ideally I'd like the new key to be a pop up flip key. I'm from Huddersfield but travel into Greater Manchester / Lancashire every week so I'm quite happy to travel if I have to? I've been phoning around and the best quote so far is £110 for a cut and programmed key. Does this sound reasonable or do any of you know a better place to try?? Cheers Alastair

So picked up my new accord tonight. Wow I am impressed. The sport mode on a good country road put a big smile on my face. It felt like a go kart compared to my previous V70. Anyhow the sat nav says it's a 2008-2009 version. I've seen i can get a 2018 version off Ebay. Please can someone tell me if i can update my sat nav to this version and how to do it. Hi Posted this on my intro but , thought this maybe a better place for it. I am trying to swap the original grill for one I purchased from MV Tuning in Russia, I have had a different insert made up for it and had it painted so keen to try it on the car. Question is do I have to take off the full bumper to remove the old one, admit it does look the case as I can see how you can get to the clips that hold the bottom tabs in place. If so as anybody got any helpful instructions (or can point me to a video or manual). If anyone as experience of MV Tunings kit that may stop me making a mess of it much appreciated. Hello, I've joined this group in the hope that someone can help me diagnose and fix a problem with my 2010 honda Type S when accelerating between 40-50mph my car vibrates from the front passenger side. Wheel alignment checked, Wheels checked and swapped, tyres changed too, yet the issue persists. Has anyone suffered from similar and if so how did you fix it? Does anyone know the paint colour/ code for my original equipment alloy wheels . The car is a Honda Accord 2013 EX . Honda UK say - contact your dealer - the dealer says contact Honda UK . Hi everyone, new to the forum. I have an 09 2.4i Accord Manual which I've owned nearing 3 years now, and have loved the car, really fun, great engine. For a good few months now its developed a horrible shaking/vibration when accelerating past 45-50mph, more noticeable going up any type of hill, its really horrible when I look at the passenger seat to see it shaking. 2012 s type tailgate opening slightly when I double click open on key fob. Not opening fully, releasing from catch half way. Does not do this when opening rest of doors from the driver door control buttons.

What is this plastic frame work around my battery in my 2012 Accord. This is the original battery and I am thinking it's just the way Honda protect the edge of the battery when it is first made. I was hoping it is that otherwise it restricts me as to what physical size battery I can replace it with?

I have the common Navi disc read error in our estate, it's had the problems since we bought the car 2 years ago. It was supplied with no disc, and the rest of the system is voice operated so assumed we needed the Ver.3.C0 disc which I purchased from ebay (silver, not a rip) This didn't fix it so I ordered a DVD mechanism from a cheap chinese wholesale site. The existing unit in the car was a DV36M110 8222TY20, but I ordered a DV36M110 9165TW22 as it was listed with multiple part numbers including the 8222TY20. Hi my 2012 accord has several faults on the dash including abs, traction, steering, gearbox light flashing, no throttle response, found parking sensors not working, the car would not start but did a battery reset & now the car starts but no throttle, I have a a diag test but cannot see the ECU, I have tried fitting a salvage ECU but still not seen & will not start , thanks Graeme

Hi, I have accord 8 gen, 2009 2.2i-dtec model. My aircon pump has died. New ones are a bit expensive, so I have started looking for used part. I cannot find anything on ebay specifically for accord 8 gen with diesel engine. I found some for accord 7 gen and one from civic 2009 2.2i-dtec. I couldn't find any information whether any of the above would fit into my accord. The part number from civic 2009 2.2i-dtec I found is 38800-RSR-E010-M2. Unfortunately, I cannot check the part number in my car without going to a garage. Does anyone know whether previous accords pump would fit in or the civics pump please?
