Hi I have a 2009 CRV ES1-CTDi and want to upgrade the Sat Nav Radio CD unit to one that has Blue Tooth hands free capability. Can anyone recommend a reliable source with reasonable prices.I have looked on e-bay but the only one I can see is nearly £600 and it doesn't give any dimensions so not sure it would fit the dash board. Any help appreciated. Tony

I was recently contacted by a music producer, who heard I had a few Skylines. They wished to use one on an upcoming Music video they were filming for an upcoming artist called 'Ragz Originale' Shameless Selfie ! It was a fun couple of days up in a London Studio, lots of special effects. I have noooo idea what the end video is going to look like, as each seat was filmed out of order ! Very excited to see the end result. Some special effects and lighting added to the car for a more futuristic look. Music video will be out end of March 2018 ish, we are really excited Loads more photos of the Ragz Originale …

Hi. I a new member. Just changed my wife's great but ageing 2.0 Civic Sport for a 2006 Jazz which has the N/S door mirror hanging off. The stumpy bit is still attached to the door by 3 10mm nuts but the mirror housing itself has some broken fragments of plastic round the bottom, held in with 3 small screws, and the whole lot appears to have been held together with a large amount of black caulk. I can't see any pictures on line of what it should look like to start a repair so wonder if anyone can help please. Otherwise I'll have to dismantle the O/S mirror to see what is inside it and I 'd prefer not to have to do that in case it is fragile and goes the same way as the ot…

Recently I had a bad experience. I bought a 2017 10th Gen Honda Civic. The car is excellent. However afte 6 months I saw some warning light came on dashboard regarding break later it disappeared. After couple of days I saw all the warning lights came on. The warning lights went off whilst I was driving to dealer garage. They said it could low voltage problem. After couple of days all the warning lights came on again. I took it to garage on 21 May, 2021 the said the fixed it and also asked fro some parts to be replaced. again within a week I saw my break is ceasing and all the warning light was also on all together. This time they said I have to wait for the parts and no…

My 2005 CRV had a new clutch fitted at the start of this year before that and after when the weather is dry the clutch often becomes squeaky in wet it it never happen so recently I've been spraying WD40 though the gap behind the front wheels and to date it's seems to have done the trick! Could this have lubricated the problem I don't know but fingers crossed 😏

Hi, I am a new model Jazz owner, which I bought in the summer. As part of the deal, the dealer insisted that I took out some of their extra insurances, one of which was repairs to cosmetic alloy wheel damage insurance. Now I know from experience how easy it is to scuff alloys and it wasn’t too expensive, so I agreed. Anyway unfortunately we did manage to scuff a wheel on a curb, but then I thought, no worries, I have the insurance. I got in touch, had approval for the repair and the guy turned up as agreed. So far so efficient. However, as the repair guy apologetically pointed out to me, the silver bits on my smart black and silver alloys are in fact not alloy at all but …

  16. Hiya, I've had this Honda Civic for 4 years and it's been a great car up until now. It has oil in the coolant, shown a mechanic and been told the headgasket is no good as the vehicle overheats. I mean the car only has 38k miles with a full service history. It's not even 6 years old yet and such a massive engine fault. What procedure do you think I can take as I don't have 1000's of pound to spend on a new engine. I'm hoping Honda could do it under goodswill. Any help will be appreciated.

  17. I don't know if anyone else on this forum has ever had seriously bad Dealership experiences when taking their car in to get serviced. When I purchased my 95 Prelude from a private owner the service book showed a PERFECT history FULL of Dealership stamps. To check if they were genuine I dyno'd the car and found it STILL made 185bhp at the crank and 143bhp at the wheel!! Buoyed up by this I decided that took keep up the cars value I would contribute to have it serviced at my local dealership, Western Honda. However, when I took the vehicle in for a service the last thing I expected was the garage to change my oil, inspect the car and charges me £492!! I could have…

Hi All, I need some Honda expert advice. I recently bought a Honda CRV EX (2016). When the wipers are on the wiper motor makes a relatively high pitch whirring/whining sound. It is very obvious. When I freeway you don't notice it but around the local roads if I do not have the radio on it is very noticeable and annoying. I sat in two friends CRVs and they do not have the noise, only the wiper blades on windscreen. This is not that. I took back to the dealer and they took it in to replace the wiper motor (genuine). I got it back and they said it made no difference and the sound is still there. They said that it seems to be a normal thing with these Honda CRV w…

  19. Cat Burglar nicked my Cat. Neighbours had CCTV of the theft. It happened at 11:30 am, took 40 seconds. Trolley jack and a pipe cutter of some sort. They cut the wires to the lambda sensors and cut through the exaust pipes in front and behind the Cat. The rear cut was through the mid section exhaust pipe so that also needs replacing. OK I have questions that I need help with. Honda wanted over 2K for the parts, (Cat, 2 lambda sensors, mid section of exhaust pipe, and fitting kit.) OEM parts at that price are not an option so I went to the internet. My first problem/question was /is identifying my cars details . Some sites asked for the reg number so that…

Hello everyone. I have just joined the Club a few minutes ago. I appreciate your help. The car we bought last summer is fitted with the auto-box and we haven't got the manual ..... Question concerning the auto-box oil change that I intend to carry-out myself. a) How many litres should I get? b) I read somewhere that you should change the plug with each gearbox oil change. Is this correct? If yes, where does one get one ? Thank you all for your answers.

  23. Hi, We own a 2009 Honda Crv EX 2.2 diesel car for a year now. A couple of months back we've noticed the car battery went dead twice on us so we decided to invest in a new one. To our surprise 2 weeks later the new one went dead too! So we swapped the old battery (thankfully didn't get rid of it!) and charged up the new one (also double checking nothing had been left on inside the car). After 3 days when opening the car door, I strangely saw the sat Nav fascia was stuck half open (like it had a power surge) and low and behold, battery dead again. All becoming a bit like groundhog day now, so decided to get it booked in with the mechanics for the f…

I decided after checking how to access the washer bottle and seek out the leak from the near side headlight washer to leave well alone, however the dribble from the washer down the bodywork started to leave a white mark and annoy me. The dribble was coming from the spray hole and I tried to clean with a pin to see if it was the problem but to no avail. I have now sorted it!! A little bit of Blu Tack stopped it however I didn't like the sight of it so with a bit of trimming of a rubber grrommet and then pushed into the Blu Tack you can hardly tell!! Bodgit alive and well here!!!
