CR-V 2001 to 2006

Just bought myself a 2003 CR-v with sat nav & cd system... Usually there is an accessory position on the ignition swith, not on mine though! One turn of the key brings all dash lights on then next turn starts car, also the radio has to be turned off manually, ie there is no position on the ignition switch for accessories, radio, windows etc... Is this normal? Thanks guys

Help. Anyone know where I can obtain a pair. Have seen a couple on adverts on Ebay but there are various negative feedbacks regarding quality and genuine fitting.

Hi problem code p2138 throttle /pedal position sensor switch d/e voltage correlation , I Have rang all the dealers to get one but not available main dealer main ,dealer said can’t get one a whole new carburettor £1500.00 , I know what I want it is the black thing on top of the carburettor , I have been on eBay you can get one , but not for my model of car , question can I put any different on my car is it standard for all the models , please can you help the car goes into limb mode I don’t want a whole new carburettor .

Initially the master cylinder flange bolt broke off when I pushed in the clutch stopping at a light. I replaced both master and slave even though they had been replaced a year and half before. Although the shop put the clutch slave pin in the wrong way with the rounded end inside the cylinder. I'm not sure if this is what caused the master to blow. I ended up replacing the metal tube/line from the slave cylinder because I bent it trying to tighten the connection in the top of the slave. Now I've bleed the system with a gravity kit I hooked up to the slave. I got my kid to pump the clutch with the bleeder valve closed then opened with pedal to the floor. I did this sever…

Hi I was lucky to buy a used Honda CRV 05 plate about 4 years ago for £1800 with 120k on the clock. I have a good mechanic who has got me through my MOT's and it's been a great car but sadly this last MOT has come up with bad rust under the car and various other serious issues and because of the rust such as brakes and steering on both sides is in danger of collapse, deeming it unworthy of fixing. I live rurally and do drive through a lot of bad surface water due to heavy rains/flooding years round but nothing crazy other than road driving. Hi everyone, I am a new UK owner as of today, and picked up a mk.2 CR-V 2005 facelift with 118k on the clock and in good mechanical condition. The price was cheap (£1500). However, underneath it is looking a bit sad. The car has been coated with some kind of waxoyl-like substance but it is hiding rust, which is now coming through in places. 2006 2.0 petrol auto CRV MK2. Had catalytic converter stolen few weeks ago - have now replaced full exhaust system including both sensors. Car starts and runs fine but 6 seconds after starting get er message for open circuit on the O2 sensor connected to the catalytic converter Have tested output and tried replacing sensor but same problem. Note that original sensor had a blue connector but all replacements seem to have a grey connector and same part number - not sure if this means anything. Auto electrician has suggested that output is only 6 ohms and should be above 10? Thanks for looking - appreciate any thoughts.

Hi my car is a 2006 2.2 diesel CRV. I keep getting the following fault on my diagnostic unit. I have read this relates to the heater plugs but they are all working well and I can get the fault for several minutes after getting going. After that it stays off until the next time you use it. It puts the car into limp mode so I am presently resetting it every time I use the car which is a pain. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

How do I replace the plastic headlamp lens on a 2006 mk2 crv

When I bought my CR-V, the rear wash did not deliver water to the rear screen. The wiper works fine. I set about it one day and pulled the screenwash through by suction. I reconnected the washer pipe and it produced a lovely jet down the rear screen. I tried it a few times in the following days and it was great. However, with the dry spell we're having at the moment, I haven't had to use the rear wash. I tried it again a few days ago as the rear screen was a bit dusty, and nothing, just an occasional drip. Can anyone give me an idea why the screenwash keeps disappearing and will not pump up again please? It's very annoying rather than life threatening. Thanks in adva…

Hi All, I have a 06 CR-V CDTi, which is awesome, and I love it. It has however developed a problem. I put the key in the ignition and the lights come on the dashboard , but not the EML and coil light. Turn it off and on again , sometimes many times , and eventually they come on ,and then you can start it. its really bugging me. Could it be the Key code reader or Immobilizer . HELP PLEASE!

Hi guys. I hope someone can help. My wife's youngest son has a CRV 2005 2.0l petrol. When wiring a 7 pin trailer plug up he got indicators & tail light mixed up. He corrected his mistake but ever since his car indicators are flashing fast & very dim. All bulbs are the correct wattage and all ok, earth's are fine as well. He has changed the indicator relay as well. We are stumped. Any ideas as to what is wrong would be much appreciated. Ps. Hazards all work fine. Tia. Shaun.
