Looking to 1> Remove the error message for tne screen. 2> Get a working SatNav for the car. Can find them on eBay but none of them state that theyr'e suitable for the 2005 CR-V, and asking the sellers a question (I've messaged three of them) gets me no reply at all. Hi can anybody help i have a Honda CR-VCTDISPORT 2006 . I HAVE PURCHASED FROM EBAY 2 PARCEL SHELFS BUT WHEN YOU FIX IT TO THE SIDES THEN PULL OUT THE BLIND ITS TWO SHORT TO CLIP IN THE SIDES. Hi all, I've noticed this pipe on my crv broken, it's been bodged with glue from previous owner. Honda don't know what the part is from their system it's showing as my vehicle doesn't have this pipe. I'm after both pieces the long hose arrowed in pic and the joint it connects too. Extra credit if anyone as part numbers 😂👍 Interestingly does anyone know what this pipes function is ? I also havea knock sensor fault up could this broken (unconnected) pipe cause that ?

Initially the master cylinder flange bolt broke off when I pushed in the clutch stopping at a light. I replaced both master and slave even though they had been replaced a year and half before. Although the shop put the clutch slave pin in the wrong way with the rounded end inside the cylinder. I'm not sure if this is what caused the master to blow. I ended up replacing the metal tube/line from the slave cylinder because I bent it trying to tighten the connection in the top of the slave. Now I've bleed the system with a gravity kit I hooked up to the slave. I got my kid to pump the clutch with the bleeder valve closed then opened with pedal to the floor. I did this sever…

Can anyone recommend a good after market source for clutch master/slave cylinders. I suspect the parts Ive used could be sub standard due to some ongoing issues. Seems to be a lot of different makes available with varied prices?

Hi, we have got a 2006 diesel Honda CRV, which has been in the garage since Christmas! It has totally baffled them, engine management light wont go off and it keeps going into limp mode. ECU unit has been sent off twice but no fault codes showing up, mechanic has changed loads of bits and done everything he can think of that would be causing the problem but still nothing, he has spoken to Honda several times but still not working. Wondering if trying a new engine wiring loom would help but they seem to be hard to get hold of. If anyone knows of one that would be great. Hi guys. I hope someone can help. My wife's youngest son has a CRV 2005 2.0l petrol. When wiring a 7 pin trailer plug up he got indicators & tail light mixed up. He corrected his mistake but ever since his car indicators are flashing fast & very dim. All bulbs are the correct wattage and all ok, earth's are fine as well. He has changed the indicator relay as well. We are stumped. Any ideas as to what is wrong would be much appreciated. Ps. Hazards all work fine. Tia. Shaun.

Hi problem code p2138 throttle /pedal position sensor switch d/e voltage correlation , I Have rang all the dealers to get one but not available main dealer main ,dealer said can’t get one a whole new carburettor £1500.00 , I know what I want it is the black thing on top of the carburettor , I have been on eBay you can get one , but not for my model of car , question can I put any different on my car is it standard for all the models , please can you help the car goes into limb mode I don’t want a whole new carburettor .

I have a 2006 CRV petrol exec manual with 117,000 miles which has been showing the engine management light after about 20 mins of driving. Fault code is always the knock sensor. I erase the fault with OBD and the light goes out but always comes back on again sometimes after a day and sometimes after 10 mins!! The car is not "pinking" and seems to be running perfectly with no odd engine noises at all even when listened to with a stethoscope. I tried new plugs just in case but didnt fix it. I have so far fitted 2 new aftermarket knock sensors and they fix it for a while but the fault code soon returns. I have even tried disconnecting the sensor but it still lights the engin…

Hi guys (and gals). A familiar tale that I suspect has had many posts. My wife’s much loved battered 2003 run around, bought for £1,000, a veteran of numerous trips to the dump and the only car I will park in a supermarket car park had I think made its last journey. Currently sat on the drive (fortunately) but the key will not turn in the ignition. Prevailing view from local garage and RAC is the lock is buggered and quote for a new lock and assembly is £1,000. I did actually, with a squirt of WD40 get the key to turn and fired up the car. Proudly told my wife that I still had the skills but next morning same problem and this time even WD40 wouldn’t fix it. Just bought myself a 2003 CR-v with sat nav & cd system... Usually there is an accessory position on the ignition swith, not on mine though! One turn of the key brings all dash lights on then next turn starts car, also the radio has to be turned off manually, ie there is no position on the ignition switch for accessories, radio, windows etc... Is this normal? Thanks guys

Hi, im new on here, i have a 2005 cr-v only 74k miles on the clock and it has a really annoying squeak coming from the rear drivers side when going over bumps and even roads. ive had it in the garage and they can`t find anything untoward, but it`s there and it is doing my head in. Hi all, new member here. Have any of you had an MOT failure for rear nearside passenger seat having too much play in the upright position? Have owned the car for 6 years and not used the fold down function at all, same MOT station too.

Very sad to have to let my CRV go. Petrol, manual 2004 125000 milage £350 .The cat was cut out damging the adjoining exhaust parts. Having gone round in circles with the insurers and different mechanics I need to throw the towel in. I don't have the time or space to fix her. She does have front driverside damage to the wheel arch too but mechanically everything is fine. She would need to be towed or put on a trailer. I want to get rid by the end of the week. March the 10th, daytime pickup on Monday and Friday. Or from 6.30 pm any day but Wednesday. Location is Camberwell London.

So the saga continues, have had problems since day 1 with wobble from my CR-V. 2007, MK2, 2.0 Petrol, Manual. When i got it, at 50 mph the side to side wobble in the car was pretty bad. Had the wheels balanced - no change Changed the drivers side drive shaft - seemed to fix the problem, except a slight wobble at 20mph. Drove to france towing a caravan, something let go bad, the wobble got super bad. I recently aquired a mint condition Honda CR-V 2006 SE AWD. I've changed all the fluids and the only remaining issue is a slight whirring sound from what I think is the auto transmission. It shifts and runs perfectly at 150k miles. Any ideas what it might be? It is there at all times and goes up and down as engine RPMS go up and down.

I have a broken key fob. The metal shaft wobbles about in the plastic part and we have held it together with tape. Honda want over £200 for total new key. Timpson's want £50 for repair. Ebay £12. Advertised as 433 Mhz ID 48 chip (don't know what that means) I have watched vids on the DIY approach and does not seem above my capabilities. Opinions on the way to go please. Thank you
