CR-V 2007 to 2011

Hi All, I have a 2007 CRV, and a 2010 Wiring Harness for tow connection - part number 08L91-sww-6 -12N Problem i have is the 12N (7Pin side) has been chopped off. Looking at the wiring, i think i have figured out all the wires, except one! Pics attached, but essentially i dont know where the red+Black wire goes. From the harness, it looks like it goes to the right side cluster (looking at the car from the back). The harness itself looks like it replaces the existing one in the car with the blue connectors going in between the exiting wiring. Hi All, newbie here, I have a 13 plate CRV SR, all good for the last 18mts, last Friday fuse15 blew, replaced all good, till today. No turn or hazards, checking the fuse its good?, helpppppp, have tried to locate relay but not found. Call to garage says its an MICU issue???? , also today the message on dash said battery can't sustain stop start, but put that down to very little driving as Covid has locked us down. Have checked bulbs and led in mirrors they are all good and dry. Any help assistance would be welcomed Darryl

Hi I purchased a 2009 crv 2.2 cdti. 118000 miles on the clock with service history. Clutch was replaced 2 years ago. I have a problem when i change gear from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 2nd, the car shudders, then goes, every other gear is fine and clutch doesnt seem to slip. The rear diff has been flushed out and refilled as it needed it. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks Richie

Hi all,I have a 2013 2.2dtec auto with 80,000 on the clock.It is the first time I have had it serviced in my ownership and a bit puzzled at what sensibly needs doing.Does it need brake fluid,transmission fluids,fuel filter etc?.I have had a few quotes,I am told it needs new discs and pads all round as well as a service,approx £730 seems to be the going rate??...any advice please..cheers,Phil.

I'm looking at purchasing a CR-V 2.2 diesel but confused with the car tax. How come some cars tax costs are only £165 per year and others of the same model £205 per year? The cheaper car to tax is also better on economy, I can't see any info on the matter and seeing as though they are the exact same engine and same year I'm at a loss. Any help will be appreciated.

By chance I lifted the boot floor cover over the spare wheel to find at least 50mm of water filling the well! It must have been there for a while as some steel parts had started to rust. Any idea how it could get there? None of the rest of the boot is wet or stained.

Good evening folks. This is ignorant of me, I know, but while flicking through the manual last night I discovered that I should be able to get traffic alerts, weather reports and traffic info displayed on the map. So I have spent all day today turning all the alerts on and I went for numerous drives but I get the same message; "No Information Received". Is it something silly that i'm doing wrong? I've attached a picture. I have a 2015 Cr-v 1.6 diesel. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I wondered if anyone has any advice about my problem. I have a 2011 CRV I dtec 2.2 diesel with 102000 on the clock. It had a full honda history up to 2 years ago but since then I have serviced the car myself using genuine Honda parts. The car wears the front tyres out in 10000 miles and also squeals badly when I go round a roundabout at any kind of speed. I am worried there maybe a differential problem front or rear. I wondered if the common rear differential issue would cause this?

Had a code come up saying open circuit on passenger side seatbelt buckle. Replaced the seatbelt buckle and the same code comes up even though I tried clearing the code. Anyone had this problem before and know what the problem is. Any help appreciated

Hi Wondering if anybody else has had this problem as it does not seem that uncommon. We first noticed a pulsing in the steering when going slowly around roundabouts for example and have had it checked out. When driving normally its fine - no pulsing or vibration and vehicle responds properly, but when stationary up on the ramp, the steering can be seen to pulsing back and forth slightly. Fluid has been changed, alignment and pump checked out, but still doing it. There is a lot of online comment on this phenomena, but I can find no comment on the fix. The next step is to change the rack but I am loathe to do this as there quite a few stories about this not sorting the…

Hi all. I'm new to car forums but I thought I would give it a go, I have a problem my CRV 2008, that mechanic can't cure. I keep getting an intermittent vibration coming up through the steering wheel, sometimes it lasts for a second or two, other times it can last as much as twenty seconds.. Sometimes this is so bad the windscreen shakes as well. I happens all the time but it is more noticeable while on cruise control at between 38 and 40mph. Has anybody heard of this or knows something about it. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

Hi, I have a 2011 CR-V. Lately it has been juddering (felt mainly through the steering wheel and also down by the pedals) when either on a full lock turn, whether forward or reversing, or an almost-full lock turn both in forward and reverse. I am very concerned at the safety aspect of this, as well as clearly annoyed that it could happen. Any help with what this might be; how serious; and what might need doing would be appreciated... I’m now looking at buying a 1.6 diesel crv. I was surprised that some ads stated £30 road tax, but when I checked another it was £125 tax. Is it the case that the 4WD CRVs have higher emissions and therefore higher road tax than the 2WD ones ? Is there much difference in the way they drive on the road ?

The battery on my CV-R needs replacing, however several sites say that after a replacement you need to somehow reset some software in the car and this is pretty common on SS cars. Anyone know if you have to do it on CR-Vs and if so how you carry it out?

New member 1st time post! My 2018 1.6 diesel auto CRV (bought from new) had been sitting on the drive not doing anything for 2.5 weeks and then I ventured out to to the shops but knew it would need a little run out but, 5 mins in to the motorway journey to the supermarket, it went into limp mode for the 1st time and then I also got the warning sign that the start/stop won't work as the battery is too low! I limped home and left it a day. then took it out to try again and basically run all the kinks out. Hi, I've had my crv about a year and so it's servicing should be due about now. I'm not sure if my crv has variable servicing and tells you via the dash when various parts need replacing. I can seem to find anywhere on the dash to say if it's been switched on or not, does anyone know where I can find out? Also does anyone know where you can find a servicing schedule if it's not, the manual just lists what needs changing for non european models.

I have a 2013 CR-V with am/fm cd audio and would like to add DAB. I have a genuine Honda CR-V audio Model 39100-T1G-G311-M1 which has FM/DAB but when I swapped it with the original unit the DAB does not work. Do I need an adaptor or some other additional part?

Dear All, I need your support on some issues which I'm currently facing since day one of my purchase. I live in the Middle East and have purchased a brand new Honda CRV 2019. 1) The vehicle center top dome light works but it is actually supposed to get dim gradually and automatically go off once I get inside and switch on the engine. Hi I have a 2007 CRV I have looked on the internet and the manual but can't seem to fine the location of the crankshaft sensor. I ha a suspicion it might be behind the alternator which is mounted on a flange so behind that ?? Any help would be appreciated
