I am looking for advice on which dash cam the group recommends please

I have a suspension knock on my CR-V 2009, An intermittent clunk over some road surfaces, ''it’s really loud thud', seemingly from the mid-point in the car, we have changed in search of the offending knock in pairs: · Front coil springs · Front drop links · Rear drop links · Track rod ends · Tie rod ends · Bottom ball joints.

Had my clarion sat nav recoded since then it starts up in france ,it also won't follow route. Any ideas please.

Was just wondering if anyone out there with the CRV clock problem got a surprise today as my clock has reset itself today

Hi I have a 2011 honda crv. It has started shuddering with an increase of speed which continues. It has passed the service, there are no warning lights, the clutch is fine and it had had a diff flush through. Please help. We are due to do a long drive in it soon..... Debi

Hi. Can't find a single pic or video for this. Anyone know where the knock sensor is on a 2013 CRV 2.0 EX please? Is it at the rear beneath the inlet manifold, does IM need removing 😞

He said it has a gas leak and £75 to repair plus parts (if gasket needed). As the Honda Jazz Exec is 2018 he said poss Honda would underwrite the repair as not far out from guarantee. A/C is still working. Advice on what to do welcome. Wait for it to fail or get it done? Thanks.

Hi Guys I have not long had my 2008 mK111 Honda CRV 1997cc Executive, its had a recent MOT passed with no probs , I am experiencing a wandering on the Steering thats all I can describe it as, Ive had two new Front Tyres fitted and the Wheel Balancing and all four wheels Alignment Tracking Done but still have this percular steering problem where the Steering wheel has to be constantly moved to keep the vehicle in a straight line. I have never had this sort of problem with other vehicles. Can one of you nice Members Please advise or suggest what the problem might be and I would be very grateful for any advice. Hi All, Thanks for the forum add I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue I'm having with a 2015 C-RV. The car is a CRV SE Navi, 4WD, 1.6 diesel and hase covered 65k miles. My question is, having had the dpf light come on and the car go into limp mode, the car has been in the garage and the dpf cleaned and refitted and is now back to full working order, sadly on returning from the garage the engine light came on again and I headed back thinking it would be dpf related. Hi, Having had several months with an audio problem with my mk 4 (2015) CR-V I thought others may benefit from my resolution! Problem As topic title, I experienced a buzzing/electrical noise back in spring 2022 after a 30-minute drive in the rain. I’ve checked the micro blade fuses under the bonnet and passenger glove compartment and all are intact. The rear speakers are operating normally, so it’s only the front speakers with the problem. The unwanted noise seems to differ. It’s more obvious (higher pitch) when accelerating compared to coasting (foot off the accelerator). You do hear a difference too when changing gears. Hi all. Our late 2007 CRV has a failed aircon compressor and the OEM part seems very expensive. Can anyone recommend a make of 3rd party compressor as a decent alternative? Cheers, James

Hi, I wonder if anyone can offer some advice please. I have a 2016 Honda CRV on a 1.6 diesel. I am changing the air filter and I have undone all three clips. However for the life of me, I am unable to remove the housing to access the filter. I can see that here appears to be two slots to the right that the housing fits in, but still having a nightmare. Any tips please.

on my 2007 crv ictdi 2.2 ex when i press the switch to activate the parking sensors the sound omitted is quite loud but as i approach an obstacle i can hardly hear a sound only very faint and i mean faint i dont normaly use them but caught the switch the other day reversing into my driveway to park in my back garden i have to pull both the Mirrors in to get between my semi detached and the neighbours thats how close it is, the sensors all show up on the display i'm sure when i got this vehicle just over 12 months ago the sound omitted was very loud. can anyone throw any light on this problem?

Our Honda CRV 2.2 cdti 2007 is having fuel issues. Fuel is not reaching the engine, either pump is not pulling or sumtin wrong with the pipes. Need help plz

i need to check valve clearances on my 2007 i-ctdi 2.2 EX as i dont know when they last checked, anyone know what the correct clearances are? any help most welcome Baz

The clock now only works when the ignition is on. When off the clock stops. On restarting the clock shows the time when It turned off Any ideas?

Evening All. Just a qq any one had issues with their High Pressure Fuel Pump on the 2.2 diesel engine, I have had two instances where the engine management light has come on in the last two weeks and had fault code P0087 which means low fuel pressure. Two years ago I was getting the same issue but the garage put new firmware on and it seemed to fix it, but i think that may have just been a coincidence as the issue is back. Sometimes it will stop the car other times it just goes in to limp mode. You can start the car no problem after the event, the fault stays for 4 more engine on and off, then disappears. Hi, my car drives lovely but draws me to ask about the auto gear selection and if this is typical with other like model owners. When cruising on a motorway at 70mph on a level road the car sits in 8th gear at around 1800 rpm and if on a slight gradient it drops to 7th. I don’t seem to experience it using 9th gear for cruising. If I sneek up to around 80 mph, It appears I still have to manually select 9th with the paddles, it will then change up to 9th but unless going downhill it soon goes back to 8th. Is this how the car is designed to run in regards to the gears and 9th not being used when at our national speed limit? I have contacted Honda and oddly, they dont know …

Hello, I don't know if anyone can help. We lost our main key fob this week. Our second key fob has never worked and Honda failed to take any responsibility. So we only have a key fob which works if you hold it over the stop/start button. It isn't the battery that is dead. This isn't the problem. Can anyone recommend someone who can fix this fob without costing the earth like at Honda? Many thanks, Thomas

Evening; I have a 2014 model that doesn't have factory fit rails. Honda will sell me some for £500 plus fitting, or I can buy a set of Cruz bars that fit under the roof line for around £80. Cruz bars are well reviewed, anyone have any experience with a CRV? Thanks

My 2009 2L petrol CRV has just had a new serpentine belt fitted by the local independent garage I have used and trusted with all my cars, BUT I think its been fitted incorrectly in that the flat side of the belt is riding on the ribs of the AirCon pulley. I am going to take it back and get it checked. My question is where can I find a diagram of how it should be routed? I've looked everywhere on the internet and can only find US spec ones and diesel ones with the power steering pump of course I don't have!

Hi, Have managed to link my Android phone to my 2016 CRV so can send & receive phone calls ok, however when using Google Maps on the phone I cannot hear the navigation instructions. Is there a setting within the infotainment system that I need to enable to achieve this please ? Thanks

In September last year out of the blue multiple warning lights appeared on the dash of my Honda CRV 2.2 I-DTEC SR 2013. 43,000 miles. The car continued to drive normally. I arranged for my local dealer to collect the car and investigate as well as carrying out a full service. Diagnostics showed low fuel pressure. The fuel filter was changed and the faults erased. The car then ran normally until mid December when the same situation occurred with warning lights appearing at random in no particular order. I then arranged for the dealer to investigate the problem again. I was told they couldn't look at the car for 3 weeks! In the meantime I purchased and fitted a new battery …
