Can anybody recommend a source for a good service/repair/workshop manual for my South African 2014 CR-V 2.0 litre petrol A/T RHD FWD with R20A engine ? The Haynes/Clymer/Chilton manuals are written for the American models with 1,8 and 2,4 engines but I suspect your UK models are similar to our SA models.

Hi, I 'm trying to replace the AWD relay, as described in Honda service bulletin 15-012, but cannot see how to remove the left interior boot panel (see attached photo). It seems to be a single enormous piece of plastic, but apart from a single clip on the bottom edge I can't locate any other visible screws or clips. Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks.

Greetings from Ireland. We have just entered entered the world of Honda with the purchase of a 2018 CRV 1.6 DTEC. It was imported from the UK to Ireland by the garage that we bought it from. As things are in KM over here and the car is in miles, we are wondering if there is any way to change the odometer and the gauges to KM? We see that it can be done with other Honda cars, but cannot find out how to do it with this. There is no information about how to do it in the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2016 CRV se plus, i was wondering if it had the option to automatically lock the door at 10 miles an hour as it doesn't do this at the moment. I have looked in the manual and can't find anything about this. Thanks in advance for your help

I'm looking at purchasing a CR-V 2.2 diesel but confused with the car tax. How come some cars tax costs are only £165 per year and others of the same model £205 per year? The cheaper car to tax is also better on economy, I can't see any info on the matter and seeing as though they are the exact same engine and same year I'm at a loss. Any help will be appreciated.

Hello. I have seen a previous post regarding a leaky boot and the spare tyre well filling up. Before I start tearing the rear apart, has anyone actually found the ingress point yet? Seems to be quite common but no online solution as yet. Thanks all.

I removed my subframes and stripped all control arms and suspension components to delaminate the rust , rub down to metal and paint with rustoleum. ,once cured bath these assemblies in light oil to penetrate all of inside sections... repair the areas that were starting to corrode on chassis from inside out. Like filler neck and surrounding chassis double skinned panels , behind rear arch front road spray trim where it holds debris and rots through to inner sills, and got in about really hard to access places with exhaust removed also... Removed rubber grommets to spray chain lube inside channels where accessible . no wash /wax or oil application can get near this detail…

what is the recommended oil for a 2007 i-ctdi i keep seeing 0-20 0-30 5-30 fully synthetic i can understand 0-20 0r 030 on a newish model but when a vehicle as done 140,000 miles plus i would have thought 5-30 would be a better option, advice welcome.

Hi, my Honda CRv has just come up with a parking sensor error on the dashboard. Looking online it could possibly be due to the bulb in the parking sensor switch, it shows if broken then creates this fault. I'm struggling to identify the part to replace it. Hi, Having had several months with an audio problem with my mk 4 (2015) CR-V I thought others may benefit from my resolution! Problem As topic title, I experienced a buzzing/electrical noise back in spring 2022 after a 30-minute drive in the rain. I’ve checked the micro blade fuses under the bonnet and passenger glove compartment and all are intact. The rear speakers are operating normally, so it’s only the front speakers with the problem. The unwanted noise seems to differ. It’s more obvious (higher pitch) when accelerating compared to coasting (foot off the accelerator). You do hear a difference too when changing gears.
