CR-V 2007 to 2011

Hi all, Ive got a 2012 CRV It’s not been driven for a few months and when I took it out today I noticed a thudding noise when pressing the brakes. Like a du du du sound.. it ‘ seemed’ to be coming from rear passenger wheel area Any clues as to what could be causing this? Is it an expensive garage fix. I’m not capable of doing it myself... T.I.A

Hi guys, Looking for some help. I've just noticed my 3rd brake light isn't working, looks like it is full of moisture so will probably need replacing. The brake light is fitted to a spoiler and no the actual boot door itself. I've had a look online at how to remove them but not had any luck finding anything showing how to remove it from a spoiler. Has anyone had any experience of changing these out. Thanks

In spite of my tyre pressures beng spot on,the tyre pressure warning system activates,I have reset the system ,but it still activates Do i have a fault on the system? Grateful for any help you can give me.

Hi all. I have an intermittent fault on my 2015 CRV diesel auto in that over time, the D drive light flashes for a while which sometimes makes shifting harsh and moving off pretty sluggish. It also stops reverse selecting unless i switch off and restart. Reading the codes, it says code )0974, P0977, P0980 and P0983 which are the 4 drive solenoids all going to open circuit. The odd thing is, any one of the codes can occur first then if I continue to drive, the rest of the codes will randomly show up. All this leads me to think it is a problem with the harness but I have checked all the connections on the gearbox with no apparent problems so perhaps it is at another juncti…

As owners of a 2013 CRV, we are looking to purchase 2 electric bikes and need to find a way to transport them. They would each weight 24 kgs. As we tow a caravan and want to take the bikes with us we cannot use a tow ball fitting carrier. Would prefer a rear vehicle option but are having difficulty finding a suitable one. Have seen roof mounted options but as these bikes are quite heavy a) they seem to be too heavy for the roof bars and b) as we are not getting any younger we are not sure we would be able to lift them anyway. Wondering if anyone else has come across this and has found an answer.

Hi, for the last few weeks every time I break there is a squeeling/crunching noise when I brake. The brakes were done 7 months ago. I noticed today that I've been driving for the last few weeks with the a/c on so I turned it off and now the brakes are making very little noise. Is there any way that the a/c was causing it? Good morning everyone. I was hoping someone could tell me what this part is that seems to be hanging down from the underside of my car. I just wanted to check first before I went to the garage so that I know what they should be fixing or not. Sorry but i've had a couple of bad experiences with garages so I would really appreciate any advice. There was a tiny pool of water that came out of this bit that's hanging down so I'm baffled. Can anyone help me with information regarding moving the driver seat further back . I need to remount the rail back to allow me more legroom . I placed an order with extend my seat.com in the states for a set of brackets, but after waiting for 6 weeks they have refunded my money because of stock shortage. Ideas appreciated , thanks .

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on here, hoping someone can help. I have a 2008 CRV 2.2 diesel, starts first time when cold and runs perfectly even down the motorway. Problem is, once you turn it off it will not start again for 2 or so hours when its cooled down, it just turns over and displays engine light and VSA & TSA. Once cold back to normal again!! Main dealer has said the ECU is not holding its memory and needs a new ECU at £1700. Had a second garage take a look and they have said ECU memory is all there it's just not communicating when warm. Hi I have been looking around for the recommended intervals to change the differential fluid on the 2.2 dtec 2014 car. My car has only done 55k now and struggling to find any info on it?

Both my ignition keys are now difficult to put into ignition slot. A little lubricant hasn't made any difference. I think both keys might be worn out as the second less used key is now playing up some 18 months after swapping over. Be grateful for any advice on what i should do. Regards Phil

Hi everyone i have just reserved my 2013 CR-V 2.2 dtec to collect next weekend. It has 55,000miles on the clock. FSH I just wanted to ask a few questions to be prepared for when I collect it. - if there anything I should be checking for with that sort of mileage that should have been done or any issues? - is there any work that will be due to be done at that mileage? I am desperate to replace the OEM head unit in my 2018 CR-V and am struggling to find suitable models that would allow me to retain: 1 - Rear Parking Camera. 2 - Sat Nav 3 - DAB 4 - Steering wheel controls. 5 - Bluetooth Telephone. Hi. Can anyone help. My 2013 CR-V 2.2D has suddenly developed a problem. The passenger power window and the same side wing mirror have both stopped working at the same time. The master control switch and the passenger switch for these items don’t work but the switches for all other windows and drivers wing mirror work as normal. Checked fuse’s, but can’t find one for wing mirror, all ok. Checked for damaged wires at door hinged position, all ok. I am thinking it’s probably pointing towards the passenger window side switch or the Master switch assy on driver’s door. But what I can’t understand why the window and side mirror have both stopped when they are on…

Hi Ive changed all my CRV bulbs to LED, apart from front fogs and front indicators. Now , Im no mechanic but how are you meant to get to the passenger side front indicator bulb. I can see it but there is no way I can get to it but im itching to change these bulbs now. Also I am assuming the bumper may have to come off for front fogs? Thanks
