  1. Hi....welcome to the Club I know exactly what you mean, when I had surgery some time ago, I couldn't have the belt tightening against me so I bought one of these clips and it worked superbly. It doesn't hinder the seatbelt operation or cause damage but it retains it slightly off the body and doesn't retract beyond the point you attach it to on the belt. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/383592771501?epid=10034692864&hash=item594fe92fad:g:mHIAAOSwElte6QPz
  2. I have successfully fitted a hard wire kit and also standard auxiliary power lead down the pillar just by tucking it behind rather than removing the plastic cover and disturbing the SRS. Once it is tucked behind it can't be seen and doesn't interfere with the SRS as long as it is not connected to any of the SRS wiring (usually yellow colour trunking)
  3. Hi.....welcome to the Club This is quite common with vehicles not being used much during lockdown periods. Also, quite often the battery is an original or old one that has been in the car for many years and they do degrade over time and the long rests tend to finish them off due to the sulphating process. I would recommend buying a quality battery and if there is a choice then go for the best one you can for your money.
  4. Hi....welcome to the Club I would say that the battery has completely expired. I have brought them back to life by using a Battery Conditioner (which I use to maintain the battery on my bike) and this discharges and recharges in a process which will restore the battery. May take a week for the de-sulphation process to complete. Alternatively, buy a new quality battery and fit to the vehicle which will resolve the issue more long-term
  5. You could try this kit from Halfords https://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/car-cleaning-kits/autoglym-headlight-restoration-complete-kit-179824.html Usually brings it back to near new condition at little cost
  6. Hi Del....welcome to the Club Are you after a new alternator ? You could get a rebuild, in fact there is a chap in Kinson who rebuilds rotating electrics and he is close to where you are Clive Snow at G & C Auto Marine Address: 400 Kinson Rd, Bournemouth BH10 5EY Phone: 01202 575260
  7. Hi....welcome to the Club I suppose certain parts will fit depending on what it is. Normal service parts would more than likely be standard to most engines in the range.
  8. Has the door card recently been off for any reason? If not then the door switch has failed
  9. Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, this is a trait with the Jazz but it excels at town driving though
  10. best thing would be to scan the ECM and see what codes if any are stored. let us know how it gets on at the garage
  11. You could change the tyre profile to a larger one to allow more ride comfort
  12. Honda parts department should be able to assist with a template
  13. I would be tempted to try suctioning through more water and run the reservoir down before refilling with fresh screenwash and use more frequently to keep things moving. somtimes hot but not boiling water assists this process
  14. do they need cleaning then? or are they broken?
  15. i wonder if there is a difference in boot size for the Sport and other versions? maybe if so, then yours is slightly longer boot length?
  16. I would advise checking or replacing the crankshaft sensor as these can fail when hot and work again when cooled down
  17. What make tyres have you fitted?
  18. Hi.....welcome to the club and welcome back to Honda! You can't go wrong with the reliability and drive of a Honda, not sure the VTEC kick in the back is quite the same as the old school Civic's though 🙂
  19. Hi.....welcome to the club There are many different styles and sizes of clips used on the vehicle trim, maybe best to pop along to a Honda dealer and obtain the correct ones. They should be stock items for bodyshop supply and won't cost much
  20. It would be worth checking all the sensors as one may be faulty. If you switch the ignition on, engine off and select reverse gear and then 1st gear to check the fronts. You should be able to hear a very feint clicking noise from the working sensors.....no noise = faulty sensor
  21. Hi Marc.....welcome to the Club You could try Burlen services in Salisbury as they are a carburettor company (originally SU carburettors) and may know where to source a kit for you. Let us know how you get on with finding one
  22. I would certainly take a punt on it but just ensure it is road legal as the fines could soon mount up 🙂
  23. Hi....welcome to the Club It may be best to take it into the local dealership to get them to change the vehicle settings via the onboard computers

  25. Hi....welcome to the Club There are different types of airbag suspension systems on eBay and other commerce sites. Typical examples listed here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l2632&_nkw=air+bag+suspension&_sacat=6030
