Hi Members For my own interest sake I have just carried out an experiment on Petrol Fuel with my 2008 Honda Exec 1977cc Mk 3 Manual Gear change Vehicle after having a full service done with new Spark Plugs ,All new Filters and Engine Oil Changed. So to begin with I nearly emptied the Fuel Tank which was showing Low Fuel and then filled up half way up with a well known Supermarket Brand Unleaded Fuel ,It seemed to be okay, few little starting problems which I put down to the weather and a couple of hiccups from the Engine which had never happened before, Then after the Tank showed Low on Fuel I filled up half way again with Esso Unleaded Petrol of the same grade E5, I am pretty sure this was not a Placedo Effect , but the car felt so much better, in performance and the general running of the engine so much smoother and responsive. My conclusion is that the Esso Fuel was much better for the Honda and as a consequence I will now not be using Supermarket Fuel and continue to use Esso in future. Would be interested to hear if any Members have this same opinion. Happy Safe Motoring

Hi Robster All Metal Boxes that we drive unfortunately suffer with the dreaded rust, my Mercedes was a prime example, it cost a lot of money to eventually get rid of the rust underneath, apparently they do suffer with rust although I didn't know this when I bought the Merc, its not usual for Hondas to suffer in the same way, but worth keeping an eye on it and remove it if possible as soon as it appears. Cheers Robster

Hi All Whilst I agree about the 20 mph speed limit being imposed outside Schools or any other places where young persons might be vulnerable to traffic injury, I am not sure I agree with this being made law on other roads. Any comments from our worthy Members on this. ??? Pedal to the Metal Boy Racers excluded 😇 Best wishes BAZZER RN 1

I cannot see the Author of this trash getting any sympathy from the poor souls that have been killed or mauled by these animals, just my opinion

I've owned both Cats and Dogs, cats are more self reliant and come and go as they please, Dogs, need to be exercised and taking for walks. My last two Cats , one was called Scampi and the other Chips, often wondered what my Neighbours thought when I called out their names to come in at night times. must have thought I was a mobile food take away 😁😁

Good Info as usual Trevor, I think Alan may have the relay missing in the box but difficult to ascertain.it does seem an odd one.

Hi MAR Welcome to the Honda Club, My guess It sounds as if there is a blockage somewhere on the system ,it might be the jets themselves which are blocked, you could try using some undiluted windscreen washer fluid to try to clear it or some methylated spirit in the washer bottle but make sure to flush it out after hopefully you have cleared the blockage, the rear jets should be removable and this is probably your first best option, check on ebay to buy replacement rear washer jets for your vehicle. Hope you get the result in clearing the problem. -
Hi Abdul Welcome to the Honda Club, I hope that one of our Members with a Prelude will come back with an answer to your question Best Regards

Thanks Alan my thoughts entirely with this breed of dog , certainly not a Family Pet. Any other comments from other Members on this subject would be appreciated

Does anyone have any comments about these animals, As a responsible Parent and hopefully a responsible Person, I have my own personal views on this. I have had Dogs my latest Two Beautiful Border Collies who sadly died last year but I always made sure they were well trained and safe on a lead when out walking them .

It may be an idea to request more information from Trevor or the other Administrators who might be able to provide more help to You Alan.

Hi Alan the A/C Relay on mine is 20 amp ,it might be worth plugging the new relay into the empty sockets just to see if the relay has been taken out for some reason by someone before you bought the vehicle, it does seem strange to have some relays missing in the Fuse Box, I suppose its your call Alan and apologies for not being to help more. Have a good weekend, Its Ringwood Carnival Today and the Red Arrows are supposed to be booked to fly over at the opening at 1.30 today.

I believe they have been taken over by another company, might not be as generous.🍺

Hi Alan Mine is a different layout to yours I'm afraid, mine is number R6, 20 Amp A/C Condenser Fan Relay. Looking at the layout you attached it does appear if some are missing this might be your problem from the start but I might be wrong, I think its best to be absolutely sure you either phone the Main Dealer and ask which Relay is the A/C or go to see them and ask the question ,better to be safe than sorry . Sorry I cant be of more help Alan unless one of the Administrators can help

Cheers Trevor, I am hoping that one of our lovely Members who has been on the type of Holiday in Portugal which I am looking for so the Kids can really enjoy themselves while I relax with a couple or three of San Miguels . Maybe someone might be able to advise on the best Place and Inclusive Hotel that will suit the Bill, but thanks anyway Trevor for your reply. Ringwood Carnival this weekend so hope the weather stays kind for them.
