    Exercise

I get most of my execise thses days from shaking ny head in disbelief £8m a day for hotels for asylum seeks, Wilco to reopen, looks like away of getting rid of all the old staff and recruting all new on minimum wage of course, why not its been done before including the armed forces and police get rid of the experience and replace with ???????????????
  6. Not a fan of Electric Cars? nor am I and won't be having one, As for the insuramce why should we pay more, let those that have them pay the extra. The problem with things like this we just put up with it unlike the French who kick off and often get things changed.
  7. No need to worry the nanny state will ban us from going out if the forecast is rain, ice or snow unless you have an electric car or a cart made from an old pram.
  8. Be interested to hear, as I will be getting a new set of 4 soon. When I got the CRV I had five different brands 4 I'd never heard the spare was an Avon the tyres are ok but it just bugs me, 😀
  9. Thanks Trevor will pass this on. With this and other car crime going on it's getting a worrying time to even go out. An ex Insp in traffic said he could stop it, if he caught one joy rider and could he would chop a hand off reckons over night it would stop, bit harsh (BIT !!!!! 😀) but there needs to be a strong deterrent
  10. no sponge in my CRV but I have used bits of sponge in other cars in the past to stop a flap tapping and sometimes to wipe up round filler pipe... bit sad really must get out more.... Warden !!!!
  11. Bring back the guy with the red flag walking in fornt, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PCtapneHWE
  12. CarMats.co.uk is worth a look at. Think the dealership have a bloody cheek asking for a extra £120 after spending out on a new car with them. Where's the goodwill gone?????
  13. Hello Troy Tempest , great club to join sure you will enjoy
  14. You two enjoy the freedom that 20mph gives us, what they haven't told you that like tobacco it's reducing by 1mph each years until everyone is riding a penny - farthing. 'A lot has been said about politices; some of it complimentary, but most of it accurate'
  15. As a full on dog person, I've owned, trained, dealt with aggression problems and done work at breeding kennels, with owners it's most lack of knowledge with lots of breeders is money .. Breed anything so long as it makes money that's where the designer dogs come in, cross two breeds call it a flash name Designer dogs regardless of their names are crossbreeds which used to be called a mongrel. (A mongrel dog or mutt is made up of a mix of breeds – generally three or more. It might be the offspring of two cross breed dogs, with a background of four breeds, or it might be that you have no clue or only a vague idea of the breeds your dog comes from) The cost of some can be mind blowing and finally, when a puppy's ancestors include two or more breeds, many of their genes may be conflicting. For example, suppose puppies are bred from dog breeds that has genes for friendliness. Another has genes for standoffishness. Another has genes for aggression. When the puppies inherits a jumble of conflicting genes, you don't know which genes will "top" the others or which ones will blend together to form some intermediate result. These Bully XL are of no use to themselves or the people that buy they are bred to fight, before these it was the Pitt Bull and after the XL they will bred something else becasue puppies go for £3500 plus and while that is the case the suffering of others dog or perosn will be of little consequence to those reaping the harvest of profit. As a dog person the sooner something is done the better for all our sakes, our kids and our own dogs.
  16. That's some experiment to under take!! If it's still the case its all comes down to what and how much additives each company add to their fuel. When the tankers were in the livery and belonged to a certain company they all got their fuel from the same processing plant like Purfleet in Essxe. Esso, Shell, BP, and I'm sure some others have their own blend of additives while the supermarkets don't use any.. Supermarket fuel was always a good bit lower in price than the well known one's now they are just 'competitve' with others in their area, think its 5 miles. Filling stations around Fenland can be 10p or more a litre diffrent within that area.
  17. That's a new name to me, did you get your Royal Black ??
  18. Hello Mickser61, I've got a CRV 2005 been a member since July really enjoy it loads of exprience and knowldege here and freely shared..... but I'm not one of them I'm learning!!
  19. Lovely looking motor. Aafter a year of owning my first Honda a 2005 CRV it's the best cat and the oldest at 18 years that i've ever had know the shape is considered too boxy now but I love it and with the back seats out it's a perfect 'dog car'. On Bangers and Cash this week, they asked who they considered made the best cars - Dave said that the UK only had a short window many years ago, Paul said the Germans and Derek said the Japanese 🖕
