Hello, I recently purchased an FK2 2011 Honda Civic SI and as a first time Honda owner, I'm looking for ideas from owners of the same or anyone else for that matter to enhance my driving experience and general tips and tricks. Just bought a gear knob and gear gaiter for starters. Looking to add an aftermarket touchscreen for handsfree phone connectivity, navigation, music and possibly reverse view in the future. Any suggestions would be most welcome. I have never done anything like this before but consider myself mechanically inclined and am really looking forward to getting my hands dirty. I am Nigel (north of 50), I live in Reading and I am the proud owner of a 3rd gen 2.0L petrol 07 CRV. I am a keen diy-er and I love to 'tinker'. I had to replace my engine a year ago, which I did myself with a little help (muscle) from a friend. It is my intention to rebuild the old engine as a spare or resale as project when the days get longer. My only problem is I can't get a service manual for the R20A2 engine installed in my car. I bought a service manual (pdf) for the correct vehicle, but that engine was not in it. I'd be thankful for a little help/advice.

Hi Folks, The forum gods suggested I do an into post so here goes. Bought my first Honda after years of my brother saying they are great cars. Bought an 06 FRV with 130k miles, great little 6 seater car, my Mechanic even approved (which is saying somthing) going to try fix it up as a weekend/mini camper. So any tips on fitting all terrain tyres, roof rails, new seats, storage for tents etc. very much welcome and appreciated!

Hi everyone I am mainly here as I have never ever driven a Honda before apart from a test drive on an auto 1.6 diesel SR about 2 months ago which I liked. I am currently looking at a year old Civic saloon 1.6 diesel SR. I was wondering if anyone had one, any thoughts, real world mpg and anything else you could think of that may help advise me before I buy one! I currently drive a BMW 118d sport automatic 5 door so that’s what I am transferring from. good afternoon to all my fellow Honda drivers i am in need of some advice 5 months ago the exhaust gas sensor illuminated on my 2014 crv diesel as this sensor is a honda only part the cost was some 250 quid i took the car to my local garage to have the code reader used and they confirmed it i had to shop around for the part as most branches did not have the part in stock i managed to get the part overnight from Honda morecambe and it was dueley fitted code wiped no further problems until 18th of june when the code was illuminated again i went to my local garage who used the coder and once more the code was saying faulty egs i contacted Honda mo…

Hi everyone - I bought a Honda Freed (Spike) Japanese import a couple of weeks back which I'm really pleased with. There are though, loads of bits and pieces that I could do with understanding on the car but obviously the supplied owner manual is Japanese. Hi members, Our 1999 Honda Accord 4 door 2.0i SE Executive Auto T reg. has a problem. The rear door handle on the offside is broken which makes it an MOT failure. We have owned the car since 2006 (two previous owners) and is in mint condition so it would be wrong to scrap it. Can you help please?
