Hello All New member here... I run a 2004 CRV 2.0 Exec SE which I use as a small van for my work. Had it for 3 years now and only needed to replace the (original) battery so far. Will be digging through the archives looking for some tips as I'm now beginning to come across some jobs which will need done before long. Hoping to come across specialist parts suppliers, owner experiences to help with diagnosis and other ideas for modification or improvements.

Hi, thanks for letting me join. Hopefully getting a 57 plate 2.2 CDTI S GT 3 door in Burnt Orange. Not sure when I'll be able to pick it up with all this lockdown going on. I've just joined and wanted to say hello. I own a 2004 Accord saloon 2.4 Executive Auto with 85k miles which I bought as a Honda Approved Used Car in 2008. The car is now a second vehicle (since 2016) but is still much loved and in great condition. In my entire period of ownership it has needed nothing other than routine servicing, tyres and brake pads. The car is now stored in a garage at a second home on a trickle charger for much of the year and when the rear brake pads were replaced last summer, one had seized in caliper so that had to be replaced too. HI, I have just joined the forum to see if anyone can help with an issue I have with my 2018 CRV Sat Nav system. I have just updated the sat nav with the latest maps etc from the Garmin site and have experienced a problem with error "Navigation System Displays "Can't Unlock Maps" or "No Map Data" " being displayed. I tried the instructions on the Garmin support page to resolve this but get the same problem even after that guidance was followed. Now being advised to take car to dealer for sat nav service - that is OK but in current lockdown garages are obviously not open. Obviously not using the car much right now so is more a frustration than a big issue but if anyo…

Hi All, My name is Alan I have become the proud owner of my late Uncles Honda Accord Executive A, 2.4 petrol 2004. I am trying to source a sunroof rubber seal for this car, as it has started to weather. My Uncle used to have it parked outside and before the seal starts to leak, I would like to replace it. I have had a quote from Honda for over £1000, to replace the glass and seal, all I need is the seal. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks Alan

Hi, I’m new here. Our Peugeot 108 lease is about to end and we are looking to upgrade by buying a used Honda Civic. We are expecting to spend between £3000 and £6000. I know Honda have a good reputation for reliability which is what attracted us. I see there are various petrol engine options 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.0 and diesels. I’m interested to hear opinions please on whether one of these engines is generally thought of as the best or the one to steer clear of. Any advice really appreciated, as I have no experience with Civics yet.

Hi everyone I am mainly here as I have never ever driven a Honda before apart from a test drive on an auto 1.6 diesel SR about 2 months ago which I liked. I am currently looking at a year old Civic saloon 1.6 diesel SR. Hi I have a mk3 2007 crv 2.2l diesel icdt 4x4 I have a Manuel on the honda civic and crv but I can't find the location of the crankshaft sensor . Looking underneath I think it might be behind the alternator which is fitted to a flange over what I think is the sensor ? Any help appreciated

Hi I just bought a wee civic as my car does on me. I'm hoping you can help me. When at speeds above about 30mph there is a strange noise. I actually turned the car off and let it coast and the noise was still there. I have attached a recording to see if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated civic noise.m4a

Hi, I have a Honda Civic type s 2007 and have a problem with the car that the mechanic says he can’t diagnose!!!! My car has started to get a thudding noise with a squeak (sounds like an old prank) but only when braking and only going forwards!!!!! The drivers front side has also dipped slightly in comparison to the passengers. No noise when driving only when braking and only once the car has warmed up any ideas?????

Right I'm a newbie and only just got my Honda. First time I have ever owned an Honda. Loving it so far but I cannot for the life of me figure out something. Is it possible to have the speed that I am doing displayed at all times without resorting to looking at my speed diameter all the time. I am slowly getting used to the touch screen etc. I swear you need a mensa degree to figure it out !! I've looked in the book, googled, you tubed nearly everthing I can think of . If anyone can tell me how to do it in laymans terms I would be really grateful. The honda I've got is a Honda CR-V 2.0 i-VTEC SR 5dr [DASP] Petrol Estate 2017. Thanks for reading

Hi All, After some help if possible. We have had our 2010 CR-V 2.2 exec for 6 months now and really love it, no problems until yesterday when the rear camera, reverse lights and reverse tilt mirror all stopped working at the same time. Everything else on the car works as it should. I'm guessing/hoping its a fuse or relay as I would think they are all connected somehow but any advise would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Got an Accord gen7 facelift last year. Was member of HondaKarma, but it seems to have disappeared ? So am trying this forum.

Hi please help. Just bought the car mention in the title, the problem I have is when I press the open on the nav console, the screen lowers satisfyingly but when I press close nothing happens also my cd player won't work and if I offer a cd then the eject motor makes a noise but won't take or spit out any CDs! Cars great otherwise (so far)

DA, have just started getting a metallic scraping noise from the rear nearside when turning right. It's going in tomorrow as they said it might be the brake rear plate scratching. Do the 2011 CRV's have brake sensors on them, and the other strange thing is when I apply the brake it stops the grinding noise. May be a wheel bearing I guess it has 92K on the clock.
