Trying to update the maps on 2017 CRV satnav having usb in car and uploading when usb is in laptop there are no files listed. How should the usb be formatted. Will be grateful if anyone can help. Thanks

Hi all, I have a 2011 crv ex ivtec and for some unknown reason the factory hid headlights have started aiming high. I've owned the car for 2 years and never had the problem before. There is no manual adjustment inside the car nor is there under the bonnet. Can anyone tell me what might have caused this and how I'd go about fixing it please? Many thanks Jay.

Recently I had a bad experience. I bought a 2017 10th Gen Honda Civic. The car is excellent. However afte 6 months I saw some warning light came on dashboard regarding break later it disappeared. After couple of days I saw all the warning lights came on. The warning lights went off whilst I was driving to dealer garage. They said it could low voltage problem. After couple of days all the warning lights came on again. I took it to garage on 21 May, 2021 the said the fixed it and also asked fro some parts to be replaced. again within a week I saw my break is ceasing and all the warning light was also on all together. Hello I have just bought a 2007 Honda Elysion and I have inherited the hard drive music that I would like to clear. I can't play my own cd's. Can anyone tell me how to clear the hard drive?

Hi all, I'm looking to purchase my first Honda as I'm after a reliable car that is well specced, well built and not going to lose too much value. I may have to resell in the next 2-12 months, depending on where my job takes me but that's irrelevant. Hi all. I'm new to car forums but I thought I would give it a go, I have a problem my CRV 2008, that mechanic can't cure. I keep getting an intermittent vibration coming up through the steering wheel, sometimes it lasts for a second or two, other times it can last as much as twenty seconds.. Sometimes this is so bad the windscreen shakes as well. I happens all the time but it is more noticeable while on cruise control at between 38 and 40mph. Has anybody heard of this or knows something about it. I would be very grateful for your help. Thank you.

Hi, Hoping someone can help a Newbie here 1. The lighter has stopped working on my Elysion - suspect a blown fuse, which would be a nice easy fix if so. Can't figure out though which fuse to replace though - see attached pic. 2. Any know where I can download a English owners manual ? Lots of Japanese options on Google ... not so many in English. Hi I am looking to buy a stylish coupe/sports for under £5k and one of the cars that popped up was the CRZ. I have seen a few under £5k with mileages varying from 70 to 110k Are they a safe used buy or do I have to budget for potentially big bills. Hi folks, recently picked up a wee honda logo with an idle bounce at running temp. Wana replace the intace air control valve but having problems sourcing 1. Any ideas or links would be appreciated.

Took my CRV for a re gas to be told it needed the conpresser replaced at a cost of around £270 fitted, to be honest it's the first car I've had with air con, it's always beed open the windows in the past. Do you think that a fair price, and is it really worth worrying about I don't do loads of miles now...any views on air con please

Hi all, I've have a Honda CRV 2010 and my rear window washer jet is blocked. I've followed the advice of you on this matter by reading up on others that have had the same problems and the suggestions that's been offered. I know the route of the pipes via a picture one of you posted so many thanks however I don't know how to remove the inside plastic panels to get to the pipe or how to take off the inner wheel arches without damaging the clips. Will the Haynes manual auto fix show me how?? I don't want to buy it and find it doesn't help, can any of you good people please let me know

Hi, looking for some advice/suggestions regarding transmission power loss. I have a 2008 2.2 cdti 6MT car which is due to have front struts & drop links replaced, however after just completing a 400 mile round trip, I became aware of a potentially more serious issue which may nullify the suspension fixes. The car seems to struggle, I can shift gears without issue but depressing the accelerator while raising the engine revs does not seem to translate to increased acceleration. Also noted that when the car encountered a change in load ( eg going up a hill ) , depressing the accelerator pedal, I can hear the engine revving but the car seems to struggle - it eventually ge…

Morning, i have a Honda CRV 22 plate which has been in and out of my Honda garage approximately 8 times with the same issue. when i hit 63 mph i get a tremble/vibration up through the steering. the brakes and discs have been replaced, rebalanced, different wheels and tyres tried, and driveshaft changed. no result. last comment from garage was that this was something that was an issue with this model. CRV Hybrid 2 ltr all wheel drive. 24000 on the clock. any one come across this issue and advice on what i should do. still under warranty.

The TMA (Traffic master) has stopped working on my 2008 Honda Accord 2.4 EX auto. I think it stopped on April 1st. So the traffic event list, which is invaluable for traffic problems she’s that - no entries exist? Has anybody else experienced this problem and if so are there any solutions? nick

Honda Civic Hatchback 1.6 Diesel 2015 - 117,000 miles Over a year ago the EML came on and the car went into limp home. My garage said the code was showing a P0401. He put fuel cleaner additive in the tank, reset the code, and told me to drive the car at a steady 4000 revs on the dual carriageway. This sorted the problem out for a month or two before the light came back on. He did the same as before and again this sorted the problem out for another month or two. On the third occasion he said that it is probably a sticking EGR valve but at £900 cost he decided to have the car in and clean the EGR. Hi Guys our trusty Honda Jazz I VTEC ES CVT 2011 has just been written off by some clown driving into the back of it. IK had purchased a spare 15 inch wheel for it as a spare, haven't got anytime for the fancy gunk and pump. We have now purchased a 2019 Jazz I-VTEC EX Navi CVT that doesn't even haver a jack with it let alone a spare wheel. I have made enquiries at my local supplier and he tells me they can't get me a spare wheel, albeit they did get me one for my 2011 jazz. I've asked the guys in the dealership and they tell me you can't put a full size spare in the boot of the new jazz as it would lift the floor level of the boot and would not be legal when taking the MO…

We are seeing quite a few posts on the subject of Honda economy (or lack of it) Obviously this depends on how the where the car is driven (e.g. extra-urban, around town, etc) and also whether it has a petrol, hybrid or diesel engine, E5 versus E10 petrol, manual or automatic gearbox. Post up your MPG and vehicle details and see if there is a trend occurring or whether it is satisfactory

Hi, does anybody body know if there’s a way to reprogramme a 2nd remote fob to a 2005 FRV? i already have one working key & fob. Have ordered a 2nd hand fob as a spare. i know with some other brands there’s a sequence of events where you can programme another fob (providing ECU will accept Nth fob) by using an existing key whilst in ignition. Don’t need to tap into ECU/OBD

Hiya, I've had this Honda Civic for 4 years and it's been a great car up until now. It has oil in the coolant, shown a mechanic and been told the headgasket is no good as the vehicle overheats. I mean the car only has 38k miles with a full service history. It's not even 6 years old yet and such a massive engine fault. What procedure do you think I can take as I don't have 1000's of pound to spend on a new engine. I'm hoping Honda could do it under goodswill. Any help will be appreciated.

I recently bought a Honda CRV SE plus, 2018. Can anyone tell me if this has Apple CarPlay as standard. Android phone is listed but no Apple CarPlay. Using Siri I can get music, make calls and get voice directions but Google maps does not appear on car screen.
