Hi all - just wanted to find out if anyone else has experienced their battery draining on the Honda CR-V (2018 model)? Ours is only 7 months old and the battery has died completely twice within 10 days. I drive the car every day (maybe a half hour in the am and a half hour in the pm). Breakdown services and the Honda dealer can’t seem to explain why the battery is draining. We never had this issue with our previous model. I’d really appreciate hearing back from anyone who has had a similar issue and how you fixed it. Thanks in advance.

Hi folks, recently picked up a wee honda logo with an idle bounce at running temp. Wana replace the intace air control valve but having problems sourcing 1. Any ideas or links would be appreciated.

Good Morning I was referred to The Honda Owners Club by Honda in Swindon. I own a 1995 Honda CRX (reg N753 EKP, engine no. D16Z6-4709549) which has failed its MOT due to high emission levels. I have been told I need a replacement catalytic converter and was given the name of Online Automotive. They have told me they can supply what I need but asked me 2 questions , neither of which I know the answer to as I am not technically minded. …does my car have a lamda sensor? …does it have onboard diagnostics? I've been reading around, and I'm getting a general sense that for some reason the 1.5 is just as economical, if not, more economical at motorway speeds compared to the 1 litre version? However there are oil diultion issues with the 1.5 litre engines isn't there (or does this not affect 2018+ models)? Or is that just a problem with very cold countries? It looks like Honda has stopped the 1.5 litre production for now as I went to their website and the 1.5 litre engine option is now greyed out across all the civic range? Also keen to get one in black so it looks clean (I think it hides the fake vents and stuff).

Hi I hope this topic hasn't been posted recently as I couldn't see a search for recent topic. I'm looking for a good manual for repairs preferably a cd manual with good screen shots and step by step guides for jobs to de done on my Honda for when the time comes. The Honda model I have is a diesel 2014 I DTEC Honda Civic 1.6L. I've just bought it from an approved dealer but may want to do some jobs whatever I feel brave enough to do later. All information on the best repair guides appreciated. I couldn't see anything on the Honda website unfortunately. Thanks.

Our civic vtec engine blew up! Regular service 130,000miles maintained OK, ran perfect then stopped on restarting just when bang!! Now the engine turns but does not start any ideas please?

Hi, im not an expert but i do have handy hands, hope you guys could help me out, On my s reg Honda cr v automatic transmission, at the back i have the transfer case the leads to drive shaft but at the bottom of the hole there is a hole with a thread init? And what appears to be oil arround the hole, well i have an engine oil leak to that doesnt help so could be that too but, i am trying to find out if this hole is a drain point for the transfer case of wether the its supposed to be open? Hope you can help And thanks in advance

I need to find a way to replace the key fob on my 1998 Honda Civic. The rubber button on one side has become so worn that all that can be seen is the plastic part underneath. This is hard to reach and becoming more difficult by the day to use. Honda UK says that it's no longer supported, and so they can't get the parts.

Can’t help but think that if Honda looked to Kia and also gave 7 years warrantee they’d be smashing the market to pieces! 4 years isn’t too bad though

Can anyone tell me if the spare wheel well will hold a standard road wheel as I am interested in buying a 2012 Jazz which is up north and it does not come with a spare instead a pump and a can of sealant from new they say,as I intend to do a bit of mileage and would prefer the old fashion spare and would like it to fit in the well and not be too high. Well, my old girl (2005 CRV) passed her MOT but got an advisores "subframe corroded but not seriously weakended rear" anyone please give me advice on this, can it be repaired if yes, should be done asap and if no repair can be done can it be replaced and ideas of cost for repair and/or replacement please. Hi all. A few days ago someone scratched my crv 2007 and the plastic cover of the passenger rear door came of. A have the part but is damaged. Any help reinstall it or buy new. I was anable to find any online to buy and fit it my self.
